Purchased a PSP Memory Card Their Prior - The "Gentlemen" Promised It would work, It was Completely Bricked even a Simple Test On the Unit could have Evidenced this.
Their Return Policy Made it Sound like I'd Need Multiple Priests To even Approach it (Another Yellow Flag I Should have Listened To)
And Good Luck Trying to Get Any Assistance, Their 2 or 3 Workers Make Me Miss being on Hold with the IRS during Tax Season.
Think they'd Rather be at the Bar Quite Honestly & I Can't Blame Them for that.
But Making It My Problem I Do Blame them For,
I Wouldn't Be Writing this at Some ones Yard Sale It Should Go without Saying.

I'm Happy to Spend a Few Minutes to Sit Down & Write an Honest and Slightly Humor Filled Review.
But I'd have Rather have Just Gotten What I Paid For without False Promises and Posturing and Continued to Give Said Business' My Money.
We Had also Purchased a VR Headset that had Major Software Issues Normally Seen from Extreme Wear & Use. This was not Evident on the Exterior of the Device.

My Metric for "Would I Recommend this Place" Is Based on One Thing.
"Had I Known My Experience Before Entering Would I Have Still Shopped There"
The Answer is A Resounding No if You Needed it in a More Absolute Written Form.

Media Exchange is To Put It Mildly, A Video Game Store Variant of the Sleezy Stereotypical Pawn Shop...
Which is Actually Ironic because Many of the Pawn Shops in the Local and Greater Elkhart & Michiana Area are Actually Run by Pretty Honest People.
I'd Recommend You Go There or Somewhere Actually Interested in Making Both Money & Repeat Business.

Read moreEDIT AFTER INITIAL POSTING: We got a SNES controller from this store after I posted this. Not really surprised to see that the start button does not work and the buttons occasionally work. Had to unfortunately move from 2 stars to 1 star.
I would honestly be lying if I said I didn't like this store. It seems to have a lot of Japanese and foreign imports which I really love as someone who's learning Japanese. However, I had picked up a copy of Pokémon Gold that didn't save, the cartridge was sold to me with a bad battery. I brought the cartridge back in and they tried to fix it for me, which I really appreciated, but the game still would not save. I was really upset about it but didn't wanna go through the hassle of asking them to fix it a second time. Now, a friend of mine purchased a copy of Crash Bandicoot from here and the disc is pretty much split in half. The man behind the counter said because it was bought 5 or 6 months ago he couldn't fix or replace it and I really do understand that. If someone had brought me something they bought from me half a year ago I would be weary about offering to fix or replace it as well, but it really just comes down to the fact that 2 of the games we've got from here didn't function. I think they have a really cool store and nice stuff inside, honestly by far the best selection of stuff I've really seen in this area, but I always feel really iffy actually buying stuff from here because a good chunk of it doesn't seem to function from what I've gotten. The idea of putting down some serious cash in here just leaves a bad feeling in my stomach. I really love to come inside and look around, though! It's really neat being able to come inside somewhere and seeing everything perserved inside boxes and in great condition as well. I'm hoping that I'll have good experiences if I buy thing from here...
Read moreMan...where do I start. This place is run by trashy employess. The owner is a grumpy old man who smokes cigarettes in the store as well as the employess. They talk very poorly about there customers everytime I go in there. They cuss and fight about bussiness right in front of the customers, they never clean game cases from gunk or sticker residue. They will sell you a scratched up game without buffing it and try to get you to pay for the buff when you notice it.Everytime I go in there is someone coming in with a none working game system they bought from them. The owner rolls his eyes at me when I ask for a small discount of $5 off of a stack of old games that I'm going to be paying at least $30-$40 on. If I run my card for sales he whines about it and tells me he's not making any money when people use their credit cards for sales(like it's our problem) I could go on and on...lol this place is bottom of the barrel when it comes to games. The one star is just because of the fact that they do have several older games still worth it,but I just want to rescue them from their nicotine laced store shelves and get them in the hands of real gamers and collectors.Stay away from this shady "store" teach these people a lesson in respect and...
