Awesome! I highly recommend checking this place out. You may need reservations. Total score: 48/50 Cleanliness: Absolutely clean. I didn't feel that I was in a dirty place at all. Clean utensils, dishware, bathrooms, tables, seats, you name it. (10/10) Service: Probably some of the best servers I've had in a long time. Plus, I think they let us stay past closing which was so kind of the owners. Thankful for that given our cluelessness while reconnecting with some longtime friends. (10/10) Quality: In all regards, I believe this has some amazing food. Expensive? Yes. Good? Absolutely! Is it the best food ever? I don't think I would go that far. The only thing I could think of improving is presentation of the drinks and food, but that's me being critical (9/10). Environment: The space is really cool! It's a classy tavern with high end for and drink options. Perfect date night (if you got money to spend), and a fun place to simply catch up with friends. The only downside is the distance between tables. I mean, you can find yourself sitting writing a foot of another group. Not a fan of that. (9/10) Uniqueness: I haven't been to any other place like this. It's an experience you won't find anywhere else around Kittitas County (at least). Highly recommend checking it out. Probably not a regular place to attend due to the price, but still a great option to checkout for dinner, lunch, or some evening...
Read moreWe came to The Huntsman to celebrate our anniversary. We wanted it to be a special experience. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. We made reservations a week in advance to ensure we wouldn’t have to wait a long time for service as it was a Saturday. When we arrived there were many many servers walking around so we thought our service would be prompt. After being seated and given water right away & menus we thought maybe our booth was in a “dead zone”. Servers walked by us many times, not making eye contact and, after, approx 10-15 min I had to stop one of them to ask if we could have a waiter or waitress come to our table since nobody had. A nice girl finally showed up and proceeded to take our drink order. We could see the drinks had been poured as they were sitting on the bar for several minutes but it seemed there was confusion as to who the drinks belonged to. It was at least 10 more min before a different server came with our drinks. Just in case we never saw them again we ordered our food. The food itself was good. My Prime Rib Dip was excellent, even though they didn’t have tartar sauce available for my fries. I could accept that. I really wish the service could have been better….so many employees walking about but so little attention to the old couple just wanting to celebrate our special day. Not sure if...
Read moreVERY disappointed. My wife and I went there last night March 4 for dinner. My $48 tenderloin that I ordered medium came raw and undercooked so I sent it back and when I got it back it was still raw. I ended up deciding to get the prime rib Instead of what I wanted. Had they tried to “make it right,” comp appetizer or my meal or ANYTHING, perhaps I would be a bit more forgiving, but when I have to pay $150 for a meal I didn’t originally want because they couldn’t figure out my original steak TWICE, I get a bit upset. Furthermore, they have a cook or chef in the back with long hair that’s not in a hairnet and, frankly, it’s a little disgusting. Finally, I need to add that this is our second time here and the first time we went we were very disappointed in the ribeye steaks we ordered - they were extremely thin and overcooked. But we decided to give the Huntsman a second chance last night. They blew that second chance. I so rarely give negative reviews on something because I just don’t like complainers but this experience at the Huntsman compelled...
