Had a magical moment at a Burger King one Sunday night. I had made plans with a friend to go to a Korean restaurant in the EC area but unfortunately due to some delays, most restaurants in the area were already closed. Not having had dinner yet, we searched for anything quick and affordable that was still open to satiate our hunger. Lucky for us, it just so happened that Burger King was right down the road.
My friend had his doubts about the quality of food at Burger King, but since I was already decided on getting burgers that evening, I imposed. I got the impossible whopper and my friend, who was craving chicken sandwiches that night, ordered the new chicken sandwich. After getting our drive thru orders quickly, we pulled over to the parking lot.
My friend, being a true Burger King skeptic, took a bite of the chicken sandwich and he said it was not bad. Meanwhile, I was completely lost within my Impossible whopper. It was truly one of the best burger experiences I've had as of recent years. I glance at my friend initially thinking that he'd be eating with mild disinterest, but surprisingly he was also completely engrossed in what was to become his favorite chicken sandwich, tied with the shake shack chicken sandwich. In fact, it was so good that he decided to go to the drive thru again and order another one. Simply another testament to why Burger King is...
Read morePulled in the drive through around 7pm today, placed my order, proceeded to the second window and as I passed the first window, saw the sign that said "LETS MASK UP". Since I was driving by myself, I didn't have a mask on but for safety of the burger king staff I put on my mask before I pulled up to the second window. I was a little surprised that cashier was wearing his mask just under his nose and only his mouth was covered. So I glanced back to see if other employees had masks on or not, and the lady who was putting my food in the bag had her mask on as a chinstrap, basically her entire face was exposed. I told the cashier that wearing a mask like this is useless. And someone who is handling food in the middle of a pandemic should wear their mask on appropriately. He asked the lady to come to the window and I stated my concern to her as well and it didn't mean anything to her. I was not mean to her, just wanted her to know that this wasn't okay. She just said it makes it hard for her to breathe so she is not wearing on her chin. Any one in the food industry should wear a mask. Last thing people want right now is contaminated food.
I had been through the same drive through around lunch time today and everyone at that time was wearing a mask. Kudos to the...

1st of all, I'd like to warn future customers of this SET UP!
-Their milkshakes are watery
-Their cup holders do NOT hold their cups properly or firmly.
-The top to this cup is WIDE OPEN! The hole on this lid is so big, they might as well not put a top.
After the mess of this set up, I drove back to the drive thru, to explain my inconvenience that was caused, I requested another shake, the lady laughed at me, completely dismissed my case, and proceeded to charge me full price for another shake.
Now I am LIVID! Where did you find this woman?! Is this the "Have it your way" customer service they are teaching Burger King now?
Here are some tips you should give her before she works with the public again.
She could've easily:
1.) Give me another milkshake. Although it is within their right to not give free milkshakes, at the low price of $3.29, most restaurants would have done it to ensure customer satisfaction.
2.) Been much more professional in declining her customers request.
But instead I was laughed at. COMPLETELY immature and unprofessional! I promise this attitude will drive away your customers.
This would NEVER happen to me at the McDonald's...
