We just visited Christmaville in Emeryville and had the best Santa experience! I have a 7 year old autistic child and a 3 year old meeting Santa for the first time and this was the best decision we could had done. My 7 year old get easy distracted and gets nervous with strangers and my little one was shy and they gave them time to get comfortable and engaged them in conversation with Santa. It took them a few minutes but once they felt good it was all magic from there on. They built block towers and looked at Santa’s workshop all while Leah took photos of their interactions. Then we took some family photos and Santa returned in his classic outfit. We spent some more time with Santa and then we were on our way. It was the perfect amount of time, not too short you feel rushed but not too long that the kids get bored. Every year everyone asks me where we get our Santa pictures done. They always look so professional. We look forward to getting our pictures done at Christmas in Emeryville. I’m always so impressed by the process and how quick it is. My partner hates getting his picture taken but he feels really comfortable with with Leah. My baby also did a great job with Leah. She puts us at ease and does a great job directing us on how to pose. It has now become a part of our Christmas tradition. I can’t wait for my baby to get older so she can interact more with Santa.
