Came here about a year ago and was good. Have been coming in for the last 3 months and less and less quality comes out. When quality comes out, they tell you they can not sell it to you and take it from you. Employees are collecting donations in the back as well as bringing out bins, so it takes a LONG time for new bins to come out. Bins are pushed together so many people can not reach to the opposite side. No rules for bringing carts in small lanes so you get blocked out by shoppers pulling their carts through. No rules on children. I straight up kicked a little girl in the head once because she was under the bins and jumped out while playing with toys. No parents watching their children. There were some 30 people picking through those bins and anyone could have severely trampled that little girl. Broken glass, medical needles. Employees are very nice but management is lost. Management thinks having a manager title makes them responsible but they are on an ego trip. They do NOT know what they are doing. Normal cashiers should replace the managers. Entire store is constantly rearranged and just becoming a mess. Bathroom is always disgusting and wet. Every video game box is empty because employees are pocketing the games. Music repeats the same songs all day and is wayyy too loud. Drives me insane and i leave early solely because of the music, even though mostly junk comes out. Ive been visiting several GW outlets throughout the years and they are slowly trying to take out anything of value and they put it on their GW ebay accounts. Total corrupt BS. They would claim they are doing it to give people job "opportunities" but most people shopping at these stores are doing so as a JOB. But what can anyone expect, there is trash everywhere in Vegas and across the world and most companies are filled with trash and corruption. To dust. And managers treat you like a child in many cases (ego). And cashiers are seriously stressed out because of the nonstop music. And i even bet the carts with metal bolts weigh more than those without. Also, they fill up books, clothes and items before bringing even one row out. So that they can bring them out all together and then make you wait for over an hour or longer....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAt first when you walk in all you see is a sea of people huddling and scrambling around various blue bins. Almost looks like a moment in time when they had the great gold rush area. People in small groups all around shaking the pans in hopes of finding gold particles. But apon further looking we saw why. "There's buried treasure up them darn hill" (did that sound like I was one of the gold miners from back in the day?? LOL SMH ) OK.. Back to the review. It was alot of good things in here. We found two fairly new kitchen table seats with small scratches on them for...... Are you ready??.... $1.99 a piece. I know right and no its not a typo. A dollar ninety nine. We also picked up a nice size dresser for the kids room. Kind of a project for my wife. She cleans and repaints then and makes them look like new. But we also saw some really nice sofas in there. I'm not going to give yall the price because we are in the process of finding a truck so we can go back and scoop them up. So hold up on going down there for a few weeks please and thank you. The line was long but they moved quick. One let me say this. All the blue bins with various things in them are 1.99 a pound but when you go up there they cut the price by 50% so for example if you go up there and you have a item that comes up to be 12 bucks you will get it for 6. (Thats the easiest way I could explain it.) Not saying everything will be $12 but you'll get it though. At least I hope. Great deals but get there early because they are always bringing things out thats until they are about to close. Which then they say an announcement over the P.A. when they will stop bringing things out. Hope this helps someone. Just don't go and get those couches...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is going to be a pretty long review, so TDLR: This location doesn't take action against disorderly people They currently don't have working AC Some staff members are extremely unfriendly
First off, there is a group of younger guys that make the competition unfair. Right before releasing new bins, the staff has people wait behind a red line on the ground, the group of men slowly inches over the line until they are right near the bin, giving them a head start. In addition to this, they also form lines of 4-5 people in front of the bins so that others are unable to search through them, and if they see you find something that interests them in another bin, they will all converge on your bin and dig in the space in front of you and sometimes even grab things out of your hands (this is especially bad because these people don't seem to bathe). If they see someone outside of their group get something that they wanted, they walk around muttering to themselves about it and even gossip with their group. I've been going here on and off for about 2 years and it blows my mind that these people still haven't been banned
They also haven't had their AC working for around 2.5 months... This has made trips to this location extremely exhausting.
Finally, like half of the staff is extremely unfriendly. Sometimes instead of just telling you "Hey, we're moving these bins out so we can put new ones out" they just stare you down. This happens pretty often with me because I can't see or hear very well, so I can't always tell that they're trying to exchange the bins, and every single time it makes me...
