Sunset Island Skatepark — Attraction in Eustis

This place is one of my local favorites. You always seems to catch at least one bass here, there’s a fishery attached to one of the canals , which supply small fry’s into the lake. There’s so much to do for all age groups. There’s an amazing skate park, basketball courts, tennis courts. Pickleball courts, racquetball courts, a small fenced in playground, beautiful walking area, and my favorite - amazing, clean, stocked, safe, and cool bathrooms. So you can take your little ones in there to wash up after playing, or use the services without having to hold your nose, stand up, wipe down or just not go to the bathroom. It’s easy to get in and out and your not afraid to take your kids in there. I don’t usually elaborate on bathrooms,but there’s been some sketchy ones lately . The park is very spacious and definitely an improvement over what I Saw 20 years ago. the parking lot seems very sketchy not having a lot of security or police presence meanwhile the amount of shady characters on bikes outside the skatepark exceed in the ones inside. In general we saw male 24 to about 35 riding skateboards with one kid maybe the age of 8 with them. I am very impressed none the less just wish eustis would put a little more investment into...

I would give 5 stars but there is Graffiti all over the place. The playground for the kids and the little sidewalk trail by the basketball/tennis court area was great. Kids had fun. Never saw so many adult men at a park before but was educated that adults go skateboarding all the time. I did not know this. Whoever was there was considerate of the kids. So...
