Came for an evening around 5pm on a Saturday for dinner. Pizza was just alright and the wings were actually pretty good. What turned me off was the cleanliness of the establishment and the service. The walls have drips of soda all down them, the booths haven’t been pulled out in what seems like ages to clean beneath them. The owner seems a bit odd. She was eating (fine, no problem) at the bar. She came over and asked what we wanted to drink. When we ordered two glasses of water, we observed her return to the bar and take a seat where she enjoyed some more bites of her food and then began writing notes or something on a piece of paper. After about five minutes, she got up and got us our waters which felt a little weird. It’s water and we’re in direct eye shot of her so it would have been nice to receive the waters with a bit quicker of a pace. Alternatively, she kept staring at our toddler when she would walk over. Like, crouching down to look at her but saying nothing. Finally when she brought our pizza, which wasn’t long, our daughter was doing what toddlers do—being distracted and not eating. She’s learning how to eat at a restaurant and so, to quiet her for a few moments while we cleaned up and paid, we put on a video for her. This is where it got weirder. When she (the owner) noticed our toddler wasn’t eating, she asked, “Is she eating?” When I said “No” she seemed to take this as an insult or something because she just turned and walked away, and got us our check. When my wife left with our toddler who was getting a bit restless, to let her walk down the sidewalk outside, the owner sort of took her time taking another bite of her food, printed our check, then slowly walked back while staring at the tv and watching a scene from a movie or show, slowing her walk so she didn’t miss a particular part while I’m sitting, waiting to join my wife and daughter outside. For me, this experience was a miss and the chef and staff standing in the back of the empty restaurant, just staring at us eat because we were the only three patrons inside, was even more awkward than we could’ve ever imagined. The small pizza was more than small, it was tiny… and everything with it, odd. Mushrooms from a can. Unevenly distributed sauce. Breadsticks were better than the pizza. I’d get the wings again, maybe, but the truth is, we probably won’t be back to dine here. It needs a good cleaning from floor to ceiling and staff needs hospitality training sooner rather than later. The health inspector will be busy with this one day if you don’t get it taken...
Read moreOne star is to much !! Wish I would have read the reviews before gong here. First of all, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DEAD IN THIS PLACE!!! Was treated so rudely, wish I had left before ordering a mediocre pizza that cost WAY TO MUCH.... I was waiting for friends, was asked twice RUDELY by owner ( a large older gray haired man ) WHEN ARE THEY COMING?? I had been there under 10 minutes. then by 17 minutes was asked again, "ARE THEY COMING??" as he tried to remove the menus on the table as I reminded him there were other people coming. He told me last night people did the same thing I was doing and they had to stay open till after 10 PM because of late arriving guests. I told him I had already inquired of the closing time of 9 PM When I decided to order I had to flag someone down to wait on me. I went ahead and put my order in got it quickly and the best part were the onion rings. Pizza over cooked, dry hard crust. not any sauce to speak of and I got the Thai Pizza. I ate one piece, crust to hard to eat took home to a roommate who will eat anything. The price was UNBELIEVABLE , spent almost $40.00 for my meal. Wish I had gone to 1884 for there $18.84 pork chop and had money left over. Will never set foot in this place again, not only because the pizza was not all that great and highly overpriced, but being the first time there and being treated like I was a PROBLEM was way to much. Wish I had left before ordering. I see where he tells people to "LEAVE AND DON'T COME BACK" wish I had told him what I'm saying now...to his face. Don't worry, I WON'T BE BACK !! HOW ARE YOU STILL IN...
Read moreWent Sat, 04/26/2014. After sitting in booth for a few minutes we were told by the owner that we had to move to a table. After waiting at the table for 20 minutes, (from when I started keeping track) we inquired about the lack of service since there were only about 10 other customers (2 tables and a couple at the bar) in the place, some of which already had food and were eating when we arrived. When we asked about ordering we were told "Be patient" my friend (who is approaching 62) responded "we've BEEN patient for over 20 minutes." The lady YELLED at my friend "I know you old people lose your patience as you get older but you just have to wait, if you don't like it then get out." I was so embarrassed for the poor guy. I don't even speak to my dog in such a manner when he chews up a good shoe. Totally rude and un-called-for. Needless to say, we left immediately. Despite our warning some other friends went and suffered a similar hour-long experience which ended without food and a warning from the owner's husband to "never come back." If she thinks people in their 60s are old and hard to deal with, she set up shop in the wrong part of the country. I notice there are a mix of reviews and I'm sure each one is true. It seems like you're taking a real gamble if you want to try to eat there. Why risk it when there are so many other "Mom & Pop" pizza places in the area? I'll...
