I made an appointment with Diamond for 5:30, I chose her because so many of the reviews sang her praises. While her work is beautiful (shape wise) I really need to share my personal experience at this salon. The customer service is lacking greatly, they treat you as if they don’t realize there is a person on the other side of the hands/feet they’re servicing. As soon as I walked in I made it clear that I wanted to SOAK OFF my previous acrylics because I knew they would be too painful to just pop off and they constantly ignored me and continued to use nail clippers to try to get them off. Even after I pulled my hand away because it literally felt like they were pulling my actual nail off the snatched my hand back and kept going. I’m not a person to be rude or condescending EVER especially in places like this but I genuinely had to step out of my character and be firm about what I wanted because they refused to listen. After which point I assume they got frustrated with me and treated me poorly from then on. Diamond cut my cuticles time after time without once apologizing. After I asked her not to use the drill thing that close to my cuticles anymore all she did was turn down the motor and kept going. She even used a regular hand file so aggressively that it started to cut my skin as well. I have NEVER left a nail salon with my fingers sore from so many cuts. Not to mention she didn’t even let me wash my hands between application and polish so I left with and the dust and residue still all over my hands (still trying to get it off).
If you feel like all the pain and frustration is worth it, try them out. But I know I will NOT be giving them...

I went there as a walk-in for a pedicure and it was nearly empty though most nail shops are pretty busy on the weekends. While removing the old polish, the lady attempted to use USED cotton balls from inside a drawer on me. I showed her that they were used as it had polish of another color already on it when she pulled it out. Then lady attempted to use DIRTY/USED tools on me until I made notice that the tools did not come from a sealed, sanitized package. Then she got a sealed package and started to file my nails. I asked for them square and she did them on a diagonal. I had to take the file and square them off myself. After she used the knippers on the cuticles and stuck me 3 times. I told her, “when you see a person jump back, that means you’re hurting them”. Finally another woman took her place and attempted to finish the pedicure. She polished my nails poorly, realized this, and polished them again. Then she took that off and polished them again (poorly). Then my bottle of polish fell between the chairs and when I went to retrieve it, the amount of dirt, toenails, and other filth that was between/behind the chairs was appalling. I told the lady, “I’m fine. I will polish myself at home. I have been here over 1 1/2 hours”. I got out the chair unfinished and annoyed from being nicked repeatedly. After all that, they attempted to charge me the FULL price of the pedicure.…I will never ever go there again. This place is a serious...
Read moreNot happy and will never go there again! The owner was rude and acted as if she was doing the customers a favor. I will not spend my money there to be treated with such disrespect. First I waited 15 minutes to be waited on even though there were 2 workers in the back doing nothing (when I questioned this I was told they rotate). Then I was seated at one station, told to move to another station, the owner started on my nails for about 5 minutes then a women walks in and the owner sends me to a 3rd station. Now I'm upset and asked what was going on. The young guy doing my nails (one of the ones sitting in the back when I came in, was very nice, did a good job and apologized for the owners behavior) said the owner told him in their language that the woman she booted me for had an appointment (why couldn't she just had said that to me?). Now when it comes time to polish my toenails they were trying to match the color to my fingernails. I had gel polish on my hands. I asked what the problem was and they said there was no match so I had to go with a darker color. The owner and another male worker there (his client left because he was being so rude to her) both had very nasty attitudes. I will tell anyone and everyone I know never to go to that salon. Maybe if they lose some customers they'll learn to be nicer to the people they make money off of! I live in Ewing but will go to Morrisville to get my nails done...
