I really enjoyed Moody Park! I did a walk on the trail and it was lovely. It was the perfect distance that I was looking to walk, just over a mile. The pathway is paved and you get to walk through some beautiful scenery such as a lake and some nice trees. I usually go to parks in St. Louis, but this one was really a nice change for me since I like to try new ones. I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a quick 30 minute walk with some good scenery. Also I will add that I felt safe here. Walking around the lake, you'll see a wide variety of waterfowl and the mallards with their emerald green heads are a sight to see. Read moreFirst time being there and got to the lake and immediately started fishing, catch and release only. Figuring that being a public park with a pond, fishing was allowed. Caught a good number within the first half hour of being there, then realized the sign stated that fishing was not permitted.. The pond is literally 100% for aesthetics, so don't bother wasting your time trying to go fish here, even though the pond is most definitely stocked with fish.
