I go over annually for their ART IN THE PARK vendor event and sculpture installation collaboration with ART VILLAGE and install my work. The park is always very active during this time and and seems to provably stay pretty busy with a giant kids playground area. There is a lake that is nice for walkers/runners with a path around it. Overall the park doesn’t seem very dog friendly as the only part of the park that allows dogs is a tiny fenced in area near an entrance.

This park has everything.  There's plenty of space, shade trees, a walking/running track, a lake with plenty of ducks and geese, ball fields, multiple playgrounds, a dog park, a couple of pickleball courts & a plethora of picnic tables.  I'm thoroughly impressed with their bathrooms which are cleaner than most restaurants.  Parks & Recreation takes good care of this park.  Perfect park to take the entire family especially with the social distancing guidelines.

Moody Park is a great spot for taking a walk or run on the 1.5 mile paved loop or just enjoying some open space. There are plenty of benches and pavilions to host gatherings. The lake is fun to walk around. They also have a dog park in the very back of the park behind the lake. The sand volleyball and tennis courts, football fields and baseball diamonds are nice. This park has everything!

I really enjoyed Moody Park! I did a walk on the trail and it was lovely. It was the perfect distance that I was looking to walk, just over a mile. The pathway is paved and you get to walk through some beautiful scenery such as a lake and some nice trees. I usually go to parks in St. Louis, but this one was really a nice change for me since I like to try new ones. I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a quick 30 minute walk with some good scenery. Also I will add that I felt safe here. I went as a single female and there were enough people around even in winter to make me feel comfortable with...

This is a great park to walk and is one of my favorite places to visit. Walking around the lake, you'll see a wide variety of waterfowl and the mallards with their emerald green heads are a sight to see. And if you're wanting to see them in action along with some of the other waterfowl, I have a Youtube video called - Birds Of A Feather - Long Acre Park. Besides the waterfowl, there's a ton of squirrels in the park and they are quite entertaining. But there's so much more in the park from tennis courts, to picnic tables, to you name it. Definitely a nice place to spend a...

First time being there and got to the lake and immediately started fishing, catch and release only. Figuring that being a public park with a pond, fishing was allowed. Caught a good number within the first half hour of being there, then realized the sign stated that fishing was not permitted.. The pond is literally 100% for aesthetics, so don't bother wasting your time trying to go fish here, even though the pond is most definitely stocked with fish. Unless you're just going to feed the geese and stare aimlessly into the water, this place isn't...
