I brought my grandmother‘s ring there to have a stone replaced. They lost the ring, and then try to offer me another ring as compensation, and very clearly stated that it was for me to keep whether they found my original ring or not to compensate for the hell they put me through. I stated that I would love to accept the ring they offered me, but did not feel comfortable taking it at that moment, as I felt that if I did, they would not look as hard for the ring they lost. Within an hour, they called me back and had magically located the ring, but when I went to pick it up from the store along with the other ring, they took back the offer for the other ring. The whole situation was extremely frustrating. I think they handled My ring with carelessness, and then Took back the offer for some kind of compensation for all of my frustration. Extremely unprofessional, and very insulting. I think if I was a rich woman and came in there, they would have treated my property and me with a lot more respect and I’m sure would’ve been given a beautiful gift but because I’m middle-class, they decided I didn’t matter as much. Don’t ever bring and leave any jewelry for them to fix unless you’re waiting in the store and in addition, if they tell you they’re giving you something that is well deserved in my case don’t believe them. It was just something to shut me up...

I went to Hannoush in Falmouth by referral from my in-laws, who have always spent a lot there. I don’t live in the area, but I trusted it would be worth the trip since it came highly recommended.

We had my engagement ring adjusted for size, and when it came back three of the diamonds looked sunken compared to the others and appeared blackened/opaque. I was extremely disappointed. Since I don’t live nearby, bringing it back for more adjustments would mean being without my ring for at least another week, with no guarantee it will ever look the same again.

While there, we also looked at wedding bands. I fell in love with one with tiny diamonds, but the salesperson kept insisting it wouldn’t look good and pushed heavily toward bands covered in diamonds instead. Rather than helping me explore how to make the style I liked work, he dismissed my ideas completely. We’ve been to multiple jewelers, and I’ve never experienced such unhelpful, dismissive treatment.

My fiancé got the band he liked, and ended up stepped back after giving a thought - Overall the service and experience left me very disappointed. I will be taking my business elsewhere and do not recommend...
