The customer service agent who "helped" my parents switch our family plan from Verizon did not do any due diligence and left us in a big loop where we can't get anything done. She called me multiple times from a number that my phone labeled as spam — she never texted me to tell me why she was calling. My parents couldn't call or text me because by the time they got this far, they no longer had service. On the third call, I picked up, and she very quickly explained who she was and handed the phone to my parents, which she shouldn't have done, because she was obviously much more qualified to handle the situation. My parents are quite savvy, and have set up complicated services at my house in the past year, but they are not employees of this mobile carrier. It was an incredibly rushed call, and when my parents handed her phone back, she was audibly irritated with them. Again, this is completely unreasonable as they were only trying to warn me I was about to lose service, which I have now been without for more than 24 hours. The most egregious part is that she waved off their concerns by telling them I would just have to go to a store if I lost service. I live in Austin, Texas. There are no Comcast or Xfinity stores here. I would have to drive to Houston, which is 2 hours away, and she didn't even tell me what I would have to do or ask for when I got there. It was wildly irresponsible of her to present this as a solution and press forward without checking to see if I have a store here — somehow I don't, and now I can't call, text, or get help in person. Because she rushed my parents...
Read moreAfter spending 3hours on the phone with Comcast customer service who could not resolve my problems I went to the Falmouth location to cancel my 5 accounts....It was crowded when I went in and waited patiently....I was able to be helped by a representative who also could not fix my issues..however another rep beside her said he could look into my issues...this representative not only fixed my issues as we spoke but also talked me out of canceling my Comcast accounts and did a comparison of my AT&T account..after doing this comparison he was able to save me over $150 dollars a month on my account if I switched all my lines over to Comcast/Xfinity...obviously I did..I can not thank Alexis enough for his patience with me and taking the time to understand my issues and resolve them ...I would certainly recommend the Falmouth location of Xfinity if you are having problems instead of dealing with a customer representative online and waiting hours for them to...
Read moreThe worst experience I e ever had at an Xfinity store. The salesman “Helping” us out when I decided to upgrade to an IPhone 16Pro just grabbed a 256gb model and started setting it up for me when I needed at least a 512gb or 1TB. He even said it was standard to just set customers up with 256gb models without asking.
Luckily my daughter’s upgrade went relatively smoothly, but that took almost an hour and a half.
Xfinity also needs to up their game with their mobile service protocol. Since I no longer use their internet and only have the mobile service, they said they cannot update my address to my new address. So my new phone was going to be sent to my old address 50 miles away.
Step up your...
