Great medium sized woodland trail with trees, pond and a river. The river was almost dry and the pond isn’t immediately accesible unless you are ready to be scraped head to toe by branches and brush but you can walk around it for a great photo. Came during peak fall season and the orange leaves were stunning. Sumac trail has the coolest feel during the is season but I bet the Wildflower and Goldenrod are both amazing in the summer. Read moreThis is a very nice natural park, is clean (Meaning that visitors are respecting Mother Nature with a smile) and the trails are easy to navigate. However, you do have to watch your steps because the tree roots, just might decide to take a hold of the tip of your shoes as you walk alone the paths. 😊 One other thing, the noises from the highway traffic can be a little nerve wrecking, but at the same time it can be very helpful to you if you have problems with navigation. Read moreThis park is a no for me. It felt so secluded that I feared for my safety. I was walking the trail and not even a minute in, I'm like, nope, turn back. I had no idea where it was leading and it was just high brush and myself. The fear of the unknown got to me. Made me turn back.
