DO NOT COME HERE!!! We came in here and it was absolutely empty and that should’ve been our first red flag to leave but we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and somehow they still managed to serve us bad tasteless food even though we were the only ones in there, this is not real Lebanese cuisine and this is coming from two Lebanese people!!! We added up our order total before checking out while having the menu prices in front of us and it came up to around $58 but when we got to the front our total was suddenly $80, we mentioned that it makes no sense and we were overcharged but the server said that the owner made the price and apparently there’s no receipt, only a paper with random scribbles and numbers on it. We wanted to speak to the owner but he had already left so they called him and handed the phone to me to talk with him and he immediately ended the phone in my face and they called him back and his response to us was “It’s Ramadan, we let you eat, so let me eat.” At this point I was over it because we are guests in your restaurant, what do you mean “we let you eat”??? We grabbed a menu and added everything up in front of the server checking us out and the total came up to around $58 and his reply was don’t forget the garlic paste and tax??? Garlic paste and tax doesn’t equate to a $20 dollar difference and we didn’t even ask for the garlic paste, it came with the hummus. My sister was over the whole situation and ended up paying but wow we will never be back here and I really would not recommend going here because this place is terrible with tasteless and bland food and horrible service and very...

This is the second time that we've gotten food from here for pickup that was extremely dry. It does not taste like authentic middle eastern. There is no flavor to the chicken or beef shawarma...the chicken has an almost burnt flavor like the grill was not cleaned properly. IT WAS INEDIBLE. We called to complain to see about a refund, and the Owner named Sam would not issue a refund...he only offered a store credit for one meal for next time we eat there. Why would we want to eat at the restaurant again after having ordered on two separate occasions now and it has been terrible food? The shawarma meat is basically chicken breast that has been grilled and then cut up. That's not authentic shawarma. We're very disappointed at the lack of customer service in resolving this issue. We simply wanted it refunded to our card. The total for this order was around $39 with the tip...and it's literally been wasted as we are throwing all of the food away. We feel cheated out of our money and time. DO NOT EAT HERE. I worked in a restaurant for over 6 years and managed a restaurant... and can tell you that it should have been handled better...I would have compensated the entire meal for the guests AND offered a credit...that's what good customer service looks like. Just shameful. I'd like to add that this was the second time that the owner also was not wearing a mask inside of the restaurant, so not sure if that's a health code violation with...

⭐ 1 star I stopped in hoping for a quick, tasty bite during my 30-minute lunch break. This spot was just 6 minutes away, so I figured it was perfect. Unfortunately, it was anything but.

I ordered a sandwich and waited over 30 minutes for it—making me late getting back to work. During that time, I watched one group walk out after waiting 10 minutes without even being acknowledged.

Two other walk-ins placed dinner orders 10–15 minutes after me and somehow received their meals at the same time I got mine.

When I finally opened my sandwich, the first bite was burnt beyond recognition. I unwrapped it and was honestly shocked at how charred it was. It was unedible being so burned. I pulled it apart to check what would tear apart. I ended up heading in the opposite direction down 12 Mile and picked up fresh food in under 6 minutes.

This place showed zero respect for my time or money. Pleasant attitude, tipping—none of it mattered. I was handed a burnt sandwich with a straight face and there'snot a way around cooking and not knowing you burned/charred something.

If this is what its like when less than three people are there, I can't imagine if it was actual traffic.

I’m not looking for a fix or a comp. That experience was enough. I would strongly advise others to look...

We walked in for dinner and right off the bat this place was FREEZING and had a strange smell. The first time we tried this place we had carry out and it was good so we were excited to come back and dine in. This time it was clearly not the owners who were running the place so maybe that's why, but the food and service were terrible. We had two fattoush salads one with chicken one with beef. The beef was tough and tasteless. The chicken was a bit better, but not by much. Lots of soggy veggies in the fattoush. The bread was so undercooked, we couldn't even eat it. Also no garlic paste was served. I'm Lebanese so I know good fattoush and bread and this wasnt it. The waiter also didn't even check on us, but was busy sitting in the back playing on his phone. I think when the owners are there its likely better, because the first carry out we got seemed to be the owner and was much better. Perhaps they need better staff. Good points were the servings were large and the prices very reasonable compared to other Arabic restaurants.

A group of us were in town for the Battery Show and looked for a local Lebanese restaurant for dinner out. We decided to try La Kabob and let’s just say it was a fantastic experience! The waiter was super responsive, the food was fresh and hot, the salad was well prepared (loved the spiced dressing!!), the dishes were well presented, and there were plates of plentiful amounts of food. We had hummus, garlic dip (great smooth garlic hit), Baba ganoush(awesome smokey flavor, meat dolma, and then split the large platter for 6-8 which was an amazing amount of food (shawarma, kabob, Kafka, shish tawook, and more). We had plenty of takeout to enjoy later. Loved the homemade pita from the brick oven. We also got some of the blended juices and they were very good. Highly recommended restaurant. The location is very unassuming. We will be back for sure next year and will recommend to others visiting to the novi area! Pardon the run on review but still recovering from the garlic and meat sweats!! Yum!
