Farmington Lanes — Attraction in Farmington

I went there about 15 times with my wife mostly for the happy hour. It was a 2.5-3 star experience at best all of those times. Tonight I brought 2 friends in and the main bartender was extremely rude. She is the one usually wearing a flannel and has black hair. I guess that is what you get for supporting local places and bringing in business. Totally embarrassing. I was never asked if I wanted food at the bar and I have ate every time but once. In the middle of my second drink and 8 minutes left of happy hour I let a bartender know I wanted food. With 3 minutes left I told the main bartender I wanted the special that ended in a few minutes. She said it will be a while. When she went to go ring it in she rudely said you sure cut it close, you only had one minute left. I told her that I had asked the other bartender 5 minutes ago. Her response was well you did not tell me. I repeat myself and get told to watch my tone. I was wronged and now I am being scolded too. I brought people there. Never again. May go back only if someone begs me to and that is not likely. Too many places to go. No reason to go somewhere and be treated horribly. We did unlimited bowling around 9:30pm and wanted to order a pizza but the bar was closed. We did ask if we could order a pizza and the bar told us that was fine because we paid for bowling. So we went to go get a pizza and came and Khiem the manager stopped and told us we couldn’t have it in the building. Even with the kitchen telling us we could Khiem couldn’t make an exception. We even offered to pay the price of a pizza so we could just eat it inside. He told us we could eat it on the patio but not inside even though it was raining outside. We asked for a refund on unlimited bowling because we didn’t want our pizza to be cold because we couldn’t eat and he told us no. Great dive bar, great bartenders. I’ve always had good experiences here until today.

I had a poor experience with bowling alley staff. We reserved a lane and had a few additional friends join. With it being less than an hour until close, we asked to pay for another lane. The girl that was running the desk told us that wasn’t an option because our friends could join our group. So paying customers were turned away for the potential of other paying customers? Sounds like a wash. Makes a lot of sense.
