The North Carolina Veterans Park is a wonderful, exciting ,clean and beautiful establishment to visit. It's near the Fayetteville Baseball park along side the Amtrak station too. It's a lot of eateries along the way so grab some lunch and bring along the kids,grandkids or parents and head to The Veterans Park a lot of interesting things to see inside the museum. My grandkids and I took the load off their. The volunteers are nice and they will show you around if needed. Bring along the kids bikes or toys because their is plenty of safe space and benches to utilize. Come early and stay late closes at 4pm. I go their every chance I get with the grands or I go alone just to get a breath of fresh air. Trust me you won't be disappointed. Thanks to ALL the BRAVE Men and Women who have and is serving...

Read moreThe NC Veterans Park is simply a beautiful, calming place to visit. There are numerous water fountains and water filled exhibits throughout. It includes every branch of the military and also every county in the state. They have a small museum as well with information about every war with information and pictures. It shares a parking lot with the Airborne and Special Ops Museum. Unfortunately, this one was closed today, so we were unable to visit it. Hopefully we can go back for a visit on a day that it is open I highly recommend a visit to the Veterans Park if you get the chance, especially if you're a Veteran or a relative...
