Dixie Antiques & Collectables — Attraction in Fayetteville

From the moment we parked at this Antique store we felt welcome. Don’t let the size for this store front fool you as this shop is actually bigger than it looks and is full of treasures. I normally go to mostly thrift shops and yard sales than antique shops but my nephew recommended this place due to my tastes (and what I consider good deals) and he was definitely correct. My father and I had a great time checking out the neat old collection in this store for over an hour. There is a small military collection room that is not the normal modern or slightly old stuff you find around town. There was an aisle of seriously old toys, plenty of art and home decor type pieces and just all kinds of neat stuff everywhere you look like old advertising pieces, collectibles and of course antiques. The owner and the lady who was the store manager were extremely friendly and knowledgeable not to mention just nice to talk to about what the shop had for sale. If you like to hunt antiques and old collectibles it is definitely a place you want to put on your list to stop and look around. Most likely you will find a few things to follow you home like my father and I did. The prices were negotiable and we felt we got a great value for what we purchased. I gave this shop a five star rating because the service, selection and overall feel of the shopping experience at Dixie Antiques and Collectibles is exactly what I look for in a shop that has earned my business and I have put them on my list to plan and visit again and again...

My review is well overdue. I finally found time to stop into this store for the first time in I moved to Fayetteville 10 years ago! It is small inside, but I honestly was blown away with everything in this store. When you first walk in you are met by a beautiful lion statue. Absolutely beautiful. The lady at the front was so nice and extremely helpful. I did end up purchasing furniture from this place and happy to support such a great business. Lots of military history inside. I am a repeat offender… er…uhhh customer with frequent flyer miles!!! I love this shop!! I’m now known by name and have so much fun looking through history as I walk through this store. If you’re looking for vintage, antique, collectibles or just some odds and ends you didn’t think you “needed” 😎 you owe it to yourself to stop on by to the friendliest staff in town!!!
