I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marriot hotel and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by their bar tender, Shari. From the moment I walked into the bar, Shari greeted me with a smile and made me feel right at home. Not only was Shari incredibly friendly and personable, but she also had an extensive knowledge of the drink menu and was able to recommend the perfect cocktail for me based on my preferences. Each drink she made was crafted with precision and care, resulting in some of the best cocktails I've ever had. In addition to her impressive bartending skills, Shari went above and beyond to ensure that my experience at the bar was top-notch. She took the time to engage in conversation with me and made sure that I was comfortable and well taken care of throughout my visit. Overall, my experience at the Marriot hotel with Shari as my bar tender was truly outstanding. I would highly recommend visiting the bar and enjoying Shari's exceptional service to anyone staying at the Marriot. Five stars all around for this incredible hotel and their incredible staff members.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. I am so happy we decided to stay here after our babyshower. I did have some things I did not care for too bit but, it might've been due to my changed comfort level at 8 months pregnant. I felt the bed could've been a bit softer and the pillows fluffier. Other than that, beautiful clean rooms. I have been slightly PTSD since staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Hope Mills a couple months back and being attacked by bed bugs! Huge upgrade in this place if you plan on staying in Cumberland County I highly recommend it

it's a beautiful room mine was set up basically like a loft apartment with a full size refrigerator microwave kitchenette minus the stove. The bathroom was faces lovely shower love the massaging shower head. The beds where it were nice nice firm soft pillowsroom also had a mini called it with the safe in it and a iron board and iron for my dress shirts and stuff so that I could look nice for business while I was here.located right in the middle of everything minutes from just about any restaurant you can think of.

Spent a week here while visiting family. I was pleasantly surprised. Pros: My room was very quiet, had a decent view (for Fayetteville, anyway), and the bed was comfy. Staff was lovely and very helpful. Kirby and Schuyler (Skyler? I don't remember) were amazing when I needed help or food suggestions at the front desk. The bartender Sheri was personable and helpful as well. I was really surprised at the breakfast! I went down expecting some underripe oranges and maybe some stale pastry, but there were mini quiches, fresh (you make it) waffles, a variety of cereal choices, bacon (!!!), yogurt, and of course, pastry. But they weren't stale! I am so not a morning person even when I'm not on east coast time, so I only went down once, but it was good. The indoor salt water pool is perfect for one adult to do random water exercises without feeling awkward. If there had been another person I didn't know, it might be kind of weird. It would also be good for a family with kids, as it's 3-5 feet deep. The gym is small but you can get a good workout in, and it's nice to have 24/7 access to it. Especially since there's filtered water in there! I didn't work out a lick, but I was in there at least 2-3 times a day getting water.

Cons: the room smelled kinda weird. I also saw people just randomly bringing dogs in, which I thought was not allowed. My room smelled "doggy", so I didn't love that. Stop lying about your rando pets being service animals, people, you're ruining things for those who actually NEED them! It was also kind of humid in the room the entire time. I made the mistake of leaving the window open for a day to see if it would air out. Don't do this during ragweed season, y'all. Zyrtec saves lives. I think if the hotel would put dehumidifiers in each room it would drastically improve both the humidity, and the random "hotel smell" that I seem to find everywhere.

All in all though, I'd not only happily stay here again, but I'd recommend...

The property itself is very poorly locate. It sits behind a very large daycare center.

The narrow one way in, one way out road to get to the hotel was frequently occupied by semi trucks (or possibly the same truck) making it difficult to maneuver on this road.

A rear facing room puts you on the side of the patio/fire pit area. The area itself is an extremely nice area that appeared to also have a grill; however, the noise from individuals in the area will make for a difficult restful stay. Forward facing rooms could be subjected to the screams and yells that can be heard coming from the daycare while outside. I cannot speak on this for certain due to having a rear facing room.

My room was located on the 3rd floor out of the 4 levels. It appeared that the floors on the upper level lack noise reduction carpet and padding. I was able to hear every step from individuals on the level above my room.

The ability to open the window in your room is a luxury in itself. It was refreshing to be able to take in the coolness of the morning air and the warmth of the afternoon's sun.

The cleanliness of the common areas and my particular room were superb! The complimentary breakfast is a great feature that saves you from having to go out to a restaurant with lines, wait times, and overpriced meals. The individuals staffing this area were extremely kind, attentive, and professional. After long travel, friendly faces and courteous attitudes are ALWAYS appreciated.

Lastly, but certainly not least, the humble and dignified display of the hotel's Fallen Soldier's Table is moving. To have an area designated to show appreciation for our service members is exemplary. In the hustle and bustle of traveling, it also allows guests to take a moment to pay homage to those that sacrificed their lives for their country, but to also take a moment to grasp the reality of what it means to be on the other side...

This was a pretty disappointing stay! When we arrived (Aug 1, 2022), check-in went smoothly and we were sent to room 413. When we walked off the elevator there was a dehumidifier and a bit of a musty smell, but nothing too bad. Then we opened the door to our room and were hit with the disgusting odor of musty mildew and damp air. It was like the room was being aired out after a flood or something.

Not a huge deal, I thought they could easily give us a different room. So I went to the front desk to ask politely for a different room. She swiftly and unapologetically said "no, we're completely sold out tonight" and that there is no other option. There were definitely other options, not everyone had checked in for the night, and there were still rooms available at Marriotts website. Frustrated, we went back to the smelly room for the night, hoping the AC would help. Made it colder, but it was still smelly and damp. Tried to iron a shirt to be ready for work the next morning, but there was no iron in the closet (just the ironing board). Called the front desk and asked them to please bring an iron to my room. The same woman who wouldn't change our room said no, that we'd need to go down and get it from her.

Anyway, I woke up the next morning with sinus pressure and a stuffy nose from the mildew - not surprising, but also a huge disappointment. The clothes I had ironed and hung up were cold and damp from the nasty air in the room. I expect more from Marriott!!

Bed was comfortable and breakfast was...
