Nona Sushi on Ramsey It’s our most frequented sushi spot as it’s so close to us. We went for my partners early birthday dinner with my in laws. In Laws have never been to a sushi restaurant. And this being one of our favorites and the nice quiet atmosphere was perfect for their first time. We ordered the Fried Wontons and Gyoza appetizer, on point like always. Nice and crunchy and flavorful. I wish I knew what exactly was on the sauce they give with the fried wontons because it’s amazingly delicious. MIL had the Onion soup for the first time and she loved it. FIL got the Ribeye, Shrimp and Chicken Hibachi and that man was in heaven. MIL got the Chicken and Shrimp and she was super excited about having enough for lunch the next day. Now onto the Sushi
like always it was delicious. Not pictured as the Spicy Tuna Kobachi. The spicy tuna with the kobachi sauce on the crispy wonton was amazing and delicious. Crazy Tuna Roll is one of my favorites as it has the spicy tuna but a crunch on it as well. My MIL tried it and she liked it!! I also did the Tokyo roll and it like always was perfect and perfectly fried. My partner did the Fort Bragg roll and he was so impressed, his own Crazy Tuna roll (I won’t share mine) and shrimp tempura rolls. We always get water when we dine out. But we’ve tried their sake on a previous visit and it was delicious. They have different ones with different flavor profiles that are definitely worth trying.

Showed up to this establishment, they were slightly busy. The host took me to my table and it was dirty. I ordered 2 drinks, sashimi, and some spicy miso ramen. The server was quick and efficient, she brought my two drinks and my sashimi in a timely manner for the business. The sake came in a champagne glass. Weird, but acceptable for North Carolina. Then, the spicy miso ramen comes out. Looked appealing at first. I duh into the egg first (my favorite and I make my own marinated eggs at home) I had to spit it out. This egg tasted as if it had been cooked earlier this morning with that old egg smell and taste (y’all know that flavor). Move on to the pork belly, not a good cut (again acceptable), but the aftertaste was that of rotten fish. This pork belly was clearly an old cut. I politely talk to my server as she asks me how everything is. I had to tell her that unfortunately the ramen was disgusting and that I spit out the egg. She said I had to speak to the manager and that they do not often appreciate customers asking for any refunds. I had to explain the situation to the manager, he stated that due to the policy he cannot give me a refund for a ($13) food item because to my taste it wasn’t good. I do not recommend any ramen lovers to come to this establishment.

Overall great place to eat! We have been here several times and the food has always been great. We never have had to wait to sit down and the foods come out in a reasonable time. The servers are great! Our servers have always made sure our drinks are filled before we ask. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars is on multiple times, hosts insisted on us sitting next to the door by high traffic when the restaurant was not busy. When i had an infant to more recent to a toddler. I don’t understand why when we ask to not be by the door (when not busy) it’s like the worst idea. **Watch out for “Bring me that” service to order sushi when online** my husband had clicked on that and started to order and the total was suppose to be 33.00 and the total doubled through the Bring me that and ended up being 66.00!! The restaurant has their own online order! More so a heads up!

Unless you want your order to be cancelled for no reason at all after waiting over 30 min for a pick up then don’t order here !! After an order was placed on line at the incorrect location we called and cancelled it, called the correct location and they said they would have it ready in 10 min. 15 min later my husband goes inside to pick it up only to be told they don’t have an order for us and that the other location called and told them not to make our order because we cancelled the one from them ! I called and spoke to Myra the supposed manager only for her to tell me that their policy is that one person can’t order from 2 different locations!! So now it’s almost bed time for my children and we had to go somewhere else to pick up some dinner for them due to this situation. WORST experience ever and after we have ordered from them numerous times they WILL NEVER GET BUSINESS FROM US AGAIN AND HOPEFULLY OTHERS ALSO. How someone from another location can just call up and tell them not to make an order for them is beyond me. They were being paid with no problem. 1st the guy lies and tells my husband he doesn’t have an order under our name then when my husband goes back in to show him the call log then they tell him that they had to cancel the order because the other location called them and told them not to make my order because I canceled the 1st one from them. So even though I was paying for both orders with no problem they took it upon themselves to call and cancel our order without anyone calling us to let us know! I will be there tomorrow to see this in their policy since she says they are forced to do it by their policy. So by their policy 1person can’t call and order from two locations. She also said she didn’t know the corporate information, phone number, her bosses last name or who owns the business! WORST service we have...

Last night was our last time visiting this location. I completely understand that this location is short staffed as there are multiple signs posted. When we arrived, we were immediately seated and there were multiple open tables. When our waiter come over to greet us 10 mins after being seated we ordered our drinks. 10 mins later our drinks were delivered. 15 mins go by and our waiter finally comes over to take our order. 30 mins go by and we finally received our salad and soup but had no silverware. We asked for silverware 2 times and none was brought. Our main meal was brought out and we still have no silverware so we asked a 3rd time. My husband finally got up and asked another server for some silverware. This server says I’m sorry but the silverware is being washed but we have plastic. We took the plastic utensils which were fine, I have no problem with that. Our waiter could have simply told us that he was waiting on the silverware to be washed instead of leaving us with nothing. We never received any drink refills. Now we saw 4 to 5 people serving/waiting tables and our waiter was only serving us and 2 other tables while this was going on. We did notice him multiple times standing in the kitchen talking to others instead to checking on his customers. Very disappointed as this was somewhere we enjoyed eating. Don’t use short staffed as an excuse when your establishment is clearly not full and has no wait time to be seated, with the amount of employees that were seen cooking and serving tables! When paying for food at these prices I expect better service and if you are truly short staffed communicate with your customers so they...
