My 1st time here. My family member mentioned it and I flew down to see concert of Dru Hill and the music from the DJ of Foxy 99 and lady MC was on point. The fact they had one of my favorite DJ Spinderella had me loose my mind. I got to achieve a dream ✨ 😌 she was cutting and scratching hard and the music was on point. One of the best shows I've evah saw. Dru Hill is from my hometown Maryland and I flew down from Boston to spend my time here for new year's 2024 something different. The park is beautiful and the food vendor trucks was great we got chicken tenders and fries. Had to stand but got lost in the moment by folks and entertainment of circus 🎪 theme and performers. Especially enjoyed the aerilists and other locals that sung with the politicians who did 1st countdown and especially dru hill did official count down at midnight was so fascinating. If I come next year got to bring a folding chair I couldn't feel my legs and couldn't get in suv and he drives this and experienced...
Read moreThis is not a place to come if you don't have at least 1 1/2 to spend for lunch. The food is decent to good. The preparation time is slow to extremely slow. The BBQ truck and hot dog truck are the fastest. Several people walk off. And even more complain about being late for work. For a food truck, and I've designed around lunch time, you would expect, maybe not fast but at lest quick service. No at all for these trucks. With hot temperatures that we are currently having, there is not enough shaded area to keep cool so bring an umbrella, a sweat rag or dress to work on your tan.
Military members and those working on Fort Bragg. My suggestion is to find another spot to go eat for your lunch break . -Food quality: Good -Speed: Very poor -Shaded are to sit: Very limited Would I recommend: Only if you have at least 1 1/2 hrs for lunch. Can eat at your desk or can get...
Read moreIn some areas the paid parking is unclear as to where to pay..today they had three events in the area all spread out down town.. the even at festival park had only a handful of vendors.. Off of Hay street they had another event and they also had a baseball game that day. It's sad because the festival park vendors had very little foot traffic. Not sure why they didn't have the whole event in festival park or either on the other side of Hay street so that all vendors could have had equal opportunity to sell their items. The 10 dollar parking was unbelievable. It's a shame because Festival park could be so much more..Dirt Bag Ale is more organized in their events and they don't...
