Purchased 3 items from this location, did not have an issue, in fact I praised how they really changed from my previous experience with them but at another location: Lakewood.
Came back to complete another purchase. I was looking to purchase a loveseat. I was told by Austin that for them to order it, I would need to put a deposit down which I did. I was told a delivery date was 4-6 weeks, still have the papers with that marked on it. Called a few times to inquire and was told different things. First was that they saw the order, but since it was a single item they would need to wait as other things would ship along it. Then told another 1-2 weeks and that I would be getting a call when it came in to set up delivery. I called again and spoke to the same person, Austin, quoted exactly the same of what he said to me in the prior conversation, he went on trying to push off that conversation that I spoke to someone else, stating that they would never say that. Then he said he had what I ordered, but would have to ask management if they can break up the set, but went on to explain that it should be there in another week. Out of kindness & respect , I said I would go ahead and wait.
In my opinion, questioning if the item should be broken up, should have shipped the item, & replaced with the incoming if you were sure of your delivery time. Even after that still there was no delivery.
I had already donated my older sofa, and for over 3 months which is well past the 4-6 weeks as promised had nothing but empty promises and a “good Memorial Day sale deal” Austin was giving me. Looks like they got the better deal when they collected a deposit for something that they could not fulfil by the terms of time.
Your Lakewood location with the delivery of a prior sofa was not any better, which has been already addressed in a prior review. I’ve come to realize that buying anything large like a loveseat is a nightmare with the company. I can understand delays and they should be addressed, but, playing stupid with the communication. All my calls when I call is recorded with date and time stamp, which confirms I dealt with Austin the entire time, in person and over the phone.

Read moreI purchased a sofa at Foothills Family Furniture. My roommate actually purchased a lift chair the night before I bought my sofa. They were to deliver both pieces to the same address so I thought they might cut us some kind of deal on the delivery fees since the delivery fees were very high. No accommodation was made to allow for our loyalty in buying from the same store. In hindsight, I would have shopped around to see if I could find a better deal with the delivery fee, however I did not have the time to do so. We had nothing to sit on at the house I share with two others, so we needed the delivery expedited. It ended up costing us $250.00 over the price of the sofa and chair just for delivery to the same address. So I wish they would have cut us some kind of deal on the high delivery fees. Other than that, the service was as expected. As I said, I wish I would have had time to shop around and I know I could have maybe found the pieces cheaper somewhere else and received a break on the high delivery fees because we made two purchases at the same time. We are ladies on fixed incomes, so the extra $250.00 would have allowed us to maybe purchase groceries or gas with that money. I definitely would have made sure that the guys that delivered the two pieces received a tip, but after their refusal to cut us a deal on the delivery fees, we could not afford to give them a tip. So no tip was offered to them because we had no money left over to do so. Sorry guys, maybe in the future you will be willing to cut a few ladies some sort of break. Read moreBoth Jose and Pedro at Foothills Family Furniture were extremely friendly and helpful with our recent purchase of an end of bed bench (Intercom Preston model). We live about an hour from both their locations and so I wanted to call and confirm availability of the item we saw online on Intercom’s website and Jose, who I spoke with on the phone took and he quickly texted photos of similar items they had in their showroom. He said they didn’t have any in-box inventory at their Lakewood store, but told us we could pick up a brand new bench at their Fife location, only 15 minutes or so away. I also asked about the cost, which Jose confirmed was about $15 less than a nearby competitor who had it on “clearance”, but at a higher price.
When we went to their Fife location to see it in person, their wasn’t a floor model in the showroom, but Pedro took time to drive over with us to their warehouse a few minutes away so my wife could see it (in person vs. just in a photo). It was exactly what we were looking for and while Pedro was helping us ring up, my wife found a light-up plant stand that she loved and Pedro plugged it in so she could see it with the light on and recommended using a warmer bulb when we got it home. Both items ended up looking great in our room, as hoped, and given the wonderful service we received, I’d definitely recommend Foothills Family Furniture to anyone looking for good quality furniture at...
