My wife and I, have become somewhat of a couple fixtures at this Fife location. We enjoy several of the slots they feature here, but our favorite is Neptune. Sometimes, we both take turns on the same machine and sometimes we each play our own, or different games in different sections. Either way, we almost always have a good time, even if we only manage to break even or loose a little of the cash we bring along with us to play the slots, for the evening. (Well, morning really, as we like to go between 2:30 am and 6:30 am, because there's less folks there and finding the games we like, available to play, is much easier.). So far, we haven't done bad at all and I dare say, we're currently ahead by a considerable margin. Our secret, is that we go, with the goal of playing for the entire time we're there and having a lot of fun together, for as close to free as we can manage. We don't go there to gamble all our assets, in the hope of winning that big score, only to be forced to leave, frustrated and scared, after being relieved of our entire paychecks, as we are aware that the odds are very much in favor of the casino! So we don't try to beat them! We just try to have fun and if we win a little, we cash out right away and head home, satisfied with the small amount of luck we had, untill the next time we come to the casino! The result, for us, has been a lot of fun, with an on average, slow and modest, yet fairly consistent and exciting, monetary gain over a great many return visits! In short... Once we hit... We freakin' split! Hey, it works for us! And it's made it very enjoyable, and modestly profitable, to go to the casino without the worry of developing a dangerously escalating gambling problem! Just say'n, folks! Also, with memberships, the casino offers many promotions, gifts and free plays, as well as contests, tickets to events, concerts and other entertainment, food vouchers and more! There's sports betting and sports trivia contests and sports memorabilia! There's something fun to see, do, or play there for everyone! The casino also sports several high end restaurants, and cocktail bars, which I personally have tried and was very impressed with. They have ample security personnel, with escort services to your vehicle for woman and very lucky gaming winners of substantial cash amounts, as well as present and very visible security personel patrolling the parking areas in official vehicles! Also, there's plenty of maintainance and service personel around and they are friendly, efficient and helpful! All in all, a fun, clean and well managed establishment that's relaxing, comfortable and safe! I highly recommend, both the Tacoma and the Fife Emerald Queen Casinos for fun and adventure. Thanks for your time. G. P. C.

Gaming variety was ok. Staff was mostly friendly and those who weren’t were at least professional the only thing I would complain about is that they cornered me for playing two cents that was left on a machine that I saw when I was on my way to the car to grab more money. However that seemingly is a more important task for security than putting any effort whatsoever into finding out who stole my very expensive lighter and the gift they gave me for Veterans Day. Which was nice. A nice chair that had an American flag on it I really liked it but somebody grabbed it when I wasn’t looking. Took my eyes off it for less than a minute. I myself found a debit card and did the right thing and turned it in but the security wouldn’t even check their camera feeds to find out who stole my possessions but they were quick to hassle me over taking Pennies from the master. “Master has to have every penny” at least they had a better excuse for it. Something about old ladies mistakenly leaving money and wandering off. I would argue however that anybody old enough to do that is probably being taken advantage of due to disability. Semantics. As casinos go. They’re better than most which is to say less horrible and as far as I could tell less profiling and attempts to pretending to be authoritative. They have no idea what kind of person they were hassling but they didn’t push it so in the end I decided to keep it to a less than stellar review. Even considering the fact that their security still acts like devoted slaves to a corporation that professionally takes advantage of peoples hopes dreams and desperation calls it fun with a straight face and are literally willing to follow somebody around To ensure master doesn’t lose 2 f’n cents. Than actually keeping you or your property secure. Oh and I know I’m an extreme outlier as far as my ability at concealing weapons and such but I’ve been there twice three times now and at no time was I unarmed. Not with a gun don’t worry. And I want to drive this point home 2 Pennies 2¢ .02$ on a machine is literally more important to them than ensuring your property stays your property or even catching whoever did it.

Entry: a very secure entry of a casino with metal detectors and a security check with the use of identification scanning for each person entering the building. They did a thorough check of bags. The downside of this is that as a hotel guest with large luggage and a family, you have to go through every bag with them. I had to lift my heavy suitcase alone with no assistance to the top of a table to show security the contents. Another negative about the entry is the length of time you wait in line to enter with luggage and family. Huge positive: the security staff at the entrance were either silent to very friendly and talkative and the only staff that made us feel welcome. Hotel: The male hotel customer service agent at the front desk was not welcoming or someone you want to interact with after an hours long drive. The lobby of the hotel is in the middle of the casino and isn't a great location to get to. The elevator is directly in the middle as well, and we were placed at the very end of the hallway. Room: The beds were older and springy but not necessarily uncomfortable. They were mildly loud just moving around to turn over, but the pillows were comfortable. The bathroom had two sections. The shower, sink, vanity, and toilet were in a locked bathroom. They had an additional sink, mirror, and vanity with an adjustable makeup mirror on the wall. The lights were all bright with multiple lamps around the room. The room had plenty of tables, 1 desk, and 1 dresser under the smaller TV. The tv worked as needed. The wifi was horrible. It had one bar signal. The room was clean, and there were no issues other than the traffic noise. The room isn't very quiet with the nearby freeway, but we didn't mind as we live in a small town. Parking: decent double tower parking available right off the freeway and near the main entrance. There were other normal uncovered parking lots located at other entrances. Nearby business: nearby is a Dutch bros, McDonald's, Dennys, basic shopping, and a few minute drive to BJ's Bingo.

Overall Customer Service is terrible. This, combined with very unfriendly staff and security personnel make it one of the worst establishments I’ve ever been into.

Their players club program seems to be a scam and only exists because every other casino has one. However, other casinos actually run their programs to where the player/customer feels rewarded the more that they play. About half of the occasions that I’ve stopped in, the players program has some sort of glitch or doesn’t work at all. I even asked a lady at the players club desk if they were fixing it; she just replied, no. I then asked, if points still accumulate when your card is inserted into a machine; she replied again, “NO”, in a very unfriendly tone while the expression on her face implied utter disgust that I would even ask.

I’m sure most folks who leave reviews complain that their machines are extremely tight compared to other casinos. I suppose I will be no different and confirm this as well. It’s gambling, so, it is ultimately responsibility of the gambler whether to play or not. So, I will not give them a hard time about this, I just simply won’t be playing here again, unless some changes are made to their operation.

I want anyone who reads this to know the following:

  1. I did not just have a bad experience here, I’ve frequented this establishment multiple times in the last six months. The first and second visits where I experienced these issues, I simply attributed it to bad luck on my part. On my most recent visit, I finally understood that this was consistent and was just how they ran their operation.

  2. most folks who visit a casino want to experience a good time in a friendly environment. I will even go so far as to say that some want to even feel a little special treatment (compared to everywhere else and all the day-to-day places that people visit). This is definitely not the place to experience any of the above.

  3. everything mentioned above is based on my personal experiences. They are my opinions only. However, I would be shocked to find that I am only one of few who have developed this opinion.

In closing, this is the third review that I have ever written in my lifetime. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, especially for very large organizations. (like casinos), as I feel it is a waste of time or will just be pulled down because these types of organizations grease all the right hands. However, in this case, I made an exception because I felt it was worth trying. I could drag on with more details on how the staff act more like prison guards rather than usual casino employees, or how visiting this Casino is a giant waste of your money and time. So, I will just say, beware – visit this casino at your own peril. There are many other casinos where you can feel confident you will have a good time, be treated respectfully, and may even have a decent chance to come away with some winnings.

Personally, I recommend these establishments, listed below:

Ilani Casino Snoqualmie Casino
