Subway — Restaurant in Fife

First (and last) time here. Horrible experience. The girl helping was nice. Older Hispanic lady not so much. When it got to the veggies I asked her for what I wanted but she insisted the sauce went first now because that’s how it done otherwise it would be messy. Sure enough it was messy but not because of the sauce (plenty of other places still put sauce last and somehow still manage to make it look good). I’ll attach a picture of how it looked, plus she made it upside down for some reason (meat on top). I was still going to eat it. Doesn’t make sense to not eat a sandwich cause it’s messy. Took one bite and it tasted gross. The meat smelled and tasted spoiled. It’s the same sandwich I’ve ordered elsewhere for the past 10+ years. It tasted spoiled. I NEVER bother with taking food back because it’s not worth the effort. Definitely took it back this time because it was a $15 sandwich that I couldn’t even eat plus the attitude already left a bad taste in my mouth. The younger girl handled the refund and was nice enough. The other lady started speaking in Spanish (which I also speak) stating there was nothing wrong with the meat and a rude tone to her. Definitely don’t recommend this...

I entered the store and sat at a table until the other two customers were done ordering. The female sandwich maker saw me come in and sit down. I have arthritis in my knees and back, I can not stand for long, is why I sat down. My blood sugers were dropping and i needed to eat just as much as as two customers before me who work next door. The male sandwich maker asked the female if she would help me, she said yes. After she completed accepting payment from the last customer, she took off her gloves and started messing with receipts and things around the register...when she finally looked up she said she was sorry she didn't see me. She obviously knew I was there and purposefully made me wait and lied to my face. I'm homeless and I live in my van. I collect scrap metal from the business in the area to take care of my financial needs. I'm assuming she thought I was also stupid. I felt very judged because of who I am. I left the store very angry that someone would be so condescending to me as her customer. I will not ever eat...

I live near this Subway and was anticipating it to be a decent lunch/dinner option. The first time I went in, the teenager was cleaning up 45 min before closing and they were bothered by my order. The 2nd time I ordered was online. Everything went through the website and when I went to pick up, the restaurant was closed. Lights off, doors closed and locked. Money was taken out of my account, I didn’t get a refund or anything.

If you go here during actual working hours, maybe it’s okay. I refuse to give this location my business considering what I’ve experienced. I will happily drive over the busy highway to the subway franchise on highway 99. They actually taste better and have a few more ingredients that the others don’t offer.
