2/17/19My wife and I went to the pool and spa show. We decided on a 12x24 Grande Resin frame, LIFETIME WARRANTY, pool $2677. 1hp power filter $299, sand $40, Dolphin vacuum $499, hayward elite light $149, 24in main access ladder $300 , liner EXPANDABLE $300 total with tax $4519.84. During our process when were talking with Mackenzie we told her we wanted half the pool up to 6ft deep so she recommend the expandable liner. That evening I started looking online for ideas for decking as I had planned to build my own, searching the web I came acrossed ALMOST the same pool for much less.2/23/19 I went in talked with Mackenzie and asked if the price match the internet and her response was yes, we decided to UPGRADE to a 15x30, pool $2716.93 with liner, sand filler $299, free sand same ladder $300 same light, $149 total price with tax $3672.83, That's over $800 in savings, that's real money . Follow up day later Mackenzie called my wife saying she messed up on the price, Charged us for the 12x24 with liner and not the 15x30. I was already a little irritated that i could walk in the store and save 800 just by showing a website, I thought going to the pool and spa show was the place to get a deal, boy was i wrong. 2/28/19 I returned to the store and went over the price situation, so new balance for everything ended up $4070.94 when all said and done. 3/3/19 after multiple phone calls to there installer i was finally able to reach him, talking with him he told me he would have to cut the support straps from under the pool to have our pool at 6ft deep and VOID MY WARRANTY, Well no one in there right mind would buy a 4k pool and void the warranty during the install. I contacted another pool installer and he wouldn't even install it if I needed it deeper. The reason we bought the expandable liner was to go deep. So I called Mackenzie on her cell cause the store decided to close on Sunday, I let her know what the installers had told me and her response was the installers dont know what voids a warranty and it can be done, ( yes it can be done but voids warranty)Her installer is the one who told me. I told her i will stop in on Monday 3/4/19 and talk about it. Now after talking with the installers a couple times he told me I need a strapless pool to do what I want to do, So I ask Mackenzie what pools she had that were strapless and she told me they dont make oval pools without straps. Well I know thats not true cause Viscount in Canton has one and pool town in south gate have one. At this point I asked for my deposit back and she did return it. Now, it was a horrible experience from start to finish, every time i questioned something she would tell me she been selling for 7 years and she knows this and she know that when in fact she doesn't. She does not know that a 20 mill liner is thicker than a 20 gauge liner, she doesn't know pools come strapless, she doesn't know what will and wont void a warranty. Mackenzie, Im in sales, please help yourself, You need to be crossed trained in all pools not just what you want to sell, you need to know what your competitors are doing, you need to know the difference from gauge to mill, you need to pay attention to your customers on what they want and what will work for them(you told me you lose deals all the time cause of something the installer says to your customer) you need to know the install process, if your customer wants a 6ft deep pool you need to know what pool you have that your installer can install without VOIDING A WARRANTY. Your competitors have a strapless pool, you need to know that cause you mentioned by law they had to have stapls, at that point i just wanted out. Just Advice, Your owner has let you down, if you were trained properly you would be a much better saleswoman, seek help, shop your competitors, she what there doing, learn the install process. And Kevin, when she called you today to ask if cutting the straps VOID THE WARRANTY and if you told her NO your doing business wrong. God bless🙏 I guess my review is 100% correct. No...
Read moreAfter vowing to not return to this location last year I reluctantly needed a part for my pool filter. It was 1/2 hour before closing I was helped by a young man who was trying his hardest to find the right part with the box system they use. The part was $132.00 when I got home it was the wrong part (never opened the bag ) I went back the next morning to return the part and was told they have a no return policy. The young lady at the counter was polite as she could be explaining this policy. I asked if the owner was here she said only the Manager was, She walked up preloaded with an attitude and it only got worse. I asked again while stating the policy was poor, to which she circled the policy on the bottom of my receipt and slammed it on the counter. Then a long haired RUDE young man decided to get in on the conversation by picking a fight. I exchanged my 132.00 for chemicals. I live in Flat Rock and have shopped when it was Viscount pools until last year and It is clear why it is now formally Viscount pools west. So my only recourse is to have my own no return policy to your store!!! I will also make sure no one I know makes the same mistake I made by shopping at your store. If I could rate them with negative...
Read moreDo not give them a penny. I unfortunately purchased a pool from Sunnys previously known as Viscount pools in 2019. First off I was stalked to pick up my pool until finally talking them into delivering it since it’s a pool and heavy/ lots of boxes and should be included in the sale. Their recommended installers showed up hungover as if they rocked out at a concert all night... we called someone else. We then discover that 2 of the posts for the pool exterior were corroded. After going back and forth we finally got replacements but obviously too late because the pool was already installed. We now have a leaking filter which I’ve called and spoke to 2 workers at the store about. They keep taking my number down and asking for pictures but never follow through with actually helping me and replacing this. This store is a complete joke and I advise all to just buy online. These people will just take your money and run leaving you with no support with any potential issues that may arise with...
