ust came here for the very first time. I ordered online then came to pick up my family’s order. When I get there which was about 25 mins ago. I called and asked a very upbeat and sweet woman how I pick up my food as I have a sprained ankle and wanted to know if by buzzing in that I was correct in my pick up process. She said no worries, welcome. You can buzz in and we will bring your food out to you!! I buzz like she says and here we go “ You gotta come inside we don’t do outside pick ups for online orders!!” No hello, no hey it’s your first time welcome let me get you used to us, just some McDonald’s type of exchange. She was like “We can do it this one time”. You right. With customer service skills like I’m ordering Taco Bell from The projects on the Bronx. Yea, You right because this is the first and last time I’ll be coming here. I expected better service but why I don’t know. Keep up the good work. She’s Amazing at helping you lose new business. The star is for the sweet lady who answered the phone. The other star is for the sweet man who brought me my food out. But That rude back room bandit on the speaker. Read moreI ordered a calabash dinner that originally came with a salad and slaw. However I didn't want the slaw and asked if I could get fries instead of it but I still wanted the salad. This is what I got. When I asked where's the salad the lady said this was all fries but she could get me the salad. Okay fine. Then a guy comes out and ask for the box back to put the salad in....okay I don't understand. So I'll take it in there myself. Its already been to many hands on it and we are still in a pandemic. FACTS! But when I go inside the real reason they'd ask for the box but was to take fires back out for the salad. SMH! Look at this picture. Its not much fries to be taken out. And why would any restaurant take back food for something as simple as a little salad during a pandemic? The meal was already half portioned from what if usually is for about $12. Yes, I asked for my money back. Not because of the portioning but because of the poor customer service. Read moreThe food was good BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! They need customer service training. People orders were wrong. Idk what happen to their customer service it was good at one time, the cashiers used to care and was friendly and kind BUT NOW...SMH. After waiting 5mins after I paid, (my cashier walked away to go talk to a group of ladies in the corner...I'm like is she gonna check on my order or what??? She DIDN'T even checked🤔🤷♀️🤦♀️. I had to ask a Young lady in a purple color t-shirt could she see if my order was ready cause it was a called in, that I order about 20mins ago now. She turns around and asked the young man could he check 🤷♀️...confused as to why she couldn't check...you're standing right there, just turn your around and look!!! After he checked, he said yes its ready and gave me my orders. Gotta home, open my hotdogs box. It was a hot dog with coleslaw in 2 big cups 🤦♀️. I ordered a hotdogs box with coleslaw ON my hotdogs NOT on the side 🤔🤷♀️🤦♀️ smh. This isn't my first horrible customer service experience with The Famous Drive In aka 301. Gotta do better.
