Editing my review after our second experience:
The manager reached out and wanted to make sure we had an amazing experience so invited us back for free.
This time was better - we did the Wizard’s Curse room. The Game Master Madi was much better than our first one. She helped us just the right amount and had perfect communication.
We escaped with 13 minutes to spare. The room was fun and creative.

I accidentally booked us for the wrong date-that’s on me. But when we showed up, the employee failed to mention that if we canceled, we’d lose everything we paid. Instead, they let us leave thinking we’d be refunded. Only when we came back in a few minutes later did they say that we’d forfeit the entire $106 unless we paid another $26.50 “rescheduling fee.” At that point we went along with it just to salvage something, but the whole thing felt poorly communicated.
The escape room was even worse. 30 minutes of our time was wasted trying to get a ball to balance so we could get it into a hole. That’s not the point of an escape room. When we asked for hints, the game master said things like, “Wait, what step are you on? I can’t see what you’re doing” and “you kind of just have to do this step yourself”. If you’re charging $132 for 3 people, they should be able to help you past one little step. The room felt cheap, frustrating, and not at all worth the cost. Would not recommend at all. We’ve each done multiple escape rooms, and this was nothing like our prior...
Read more⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Captain Yeff Steered Us to Victory! We recently visited the Sherlock Holmes Escape Room venue and tackled the incredible Wrecked Pirate Ship of Long John Silver room. What a brilliant adventure! The set design was phenomenal, truly making us feel like we were aboard a long-lost, waterlogged vessel hunting for pirate treasure. Our Game Master, Jeffrey (Yeff), was the best first mate a crew could ask for. He was energetic, encouraging, and timed his guidance with masterful precision. His hints were like finding hidden pieces of the map—just enough to point us in the right direction without spoiling the puzzle. Yeff's enthusiasm made the race against the clock feel high-stakes and genuinely thrilling. If you are looking for a fantastic, immersive escape room experience, ask for Yeff! He’s the reason this treasure hunt gets a...
Read moreEscape rooms are a fun and enjoyable time with family and friends. There aren't enough of them in the NKY area so we are thankful that Sherlocks off of Florence Mall road was available. Our family isn't into horror or jump scare themed rooms, so we were glad that Wizards Curse was available.
Last night 4 of us enjoyed the Wizard's Curse. Charlie did an amazing job running the room and was generous with his hints. The ceiling was wonderfully constructed which gave off a cloudy nighttime feel.
All in all, it was a great time. To those that will go to escape rooms, one piece of advice. Respect the people who run these rooms and put the pieces of solved puzzles in a corner when done. One of the puzzles was missing a piece that someone walked away with in their pocket which cost us some time...
