Just to add on to what others said. Here I add details about the banister decoration, breakfast for the wedding party, default dessert, and private cocktail hour for the couple.

The stairs that you first come into upon entering the front door, or any banister for that matter, are not available for DIY decoration. The same goes for many antique pieces in the building. Reason being that when the wedding party does the decoration, the tie wrap and other tools often scratch the antique furnitures, and they don't have any damage insurance to cover the venue's repair cost. Only florists are allowed to do decorations of this sort because they are required to have damage insurance as vendors. The only DIY decoration allowed are ones you place directly on a surface.

The breakfast for the wedding party who came early can be provided as early as 6am-7am, but won't have any extras. A plate of pastry will be provided to both bridal and groom party, amount depends on the number of people who will come early. Beverage provided are hot tea or coffee. Grooms may access their man cave bar beverage dispensor tool without permission, or access the cooler behind the bar, but their will only have non-alcoholic options, and possibly champagne. They'll ask about how any people will come early in their questionnaire a month before the wedding. Keep in mind that guests who came from far away or has to be there early may ask about breakfast much later than the submission deadline. Plan accordingly or disappoint those guests. Most non-family guests who come later for the main ceremony will be kept outside the cocktail hall, so you won't be able to just provide breakfast for "everyone".

The venue's menu is not very clear on what default dessert is provided, if one does not opt to pay extra for the Viennese dessert table. See provided picture for an example of what's provided to the bride and groom. The guests will have similar food. There will be many chocolate dipped dry fruits, cakes, and cookies. Honestly there's no reason to upgrade the dessert because people could barely eat the entrée of the dinner. Many guests just ask staff to box dinner food up to go. Not sure what could be boxed up, but I've seen many box up entrées to take home.

I don't have pictures, but I had steak and fish combo for entrée. While the steak is tender, as it should, due to the specific cut of the meat. The fish seems to be a thin soft white filet. Not sure if it is actually Branzino. It's common in many venues to downgrade one of the item when you order a combo for entrée. As for favorite drink, I didn't specifically order them, so I never see them serve up any. I only ever get water, and the 2 signature drinks served up to bride and groom table.

Provided picture is a sample of what the venue will provide to the bride and groom if they opt to maximize their opportunity to eat the cocktail hour food. Matre'D will take the couple upstairs to the bridal suite, and let them eat privately. The plate will have sample of all the food downstair. Couple should take this opportunity to eat all they can, as many of the good ones, like lobster, won't be available to take home. More on take home food later. I have not tried to bring my own Tupperware to take home food secretly as the couple or the guest, but if you want to take home the good stuff, that may be your only way. The venue has painful past experience where ignorant guest kept venue's food at home for too long and ate spoiled food, then in turn sued venue for unsafe food. So venue does not pack any substantial amount of food for any guests or wedding party members. The bride and groom, however will be allowed to take home minimum 4 boxes of food and the left over of their wedding cake (if there are 2+ flavors) / top layer cake. The only food that get boxed up are ones that keeps and reheat well, like Mac and cheese, and other dishes that has some sort of pasta. It's dumb, but I don't think it's the venue to blame. Blame those people who came before and ruined it...

This may be a little long winded but I have so much to say about our experience with The Park Savoy Estate, its ownership , staff, grounds , food, ambiance, etc.

Lets start at the top because that's where all good things originate. Barry is a total gentleman and is one of the most genuine, classy , truthful owners that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. We booked my daughters Wedding a while back with anticipation that The Chapel would be completed before their February Wedding. Due to some concerns during construction things were delayed through no fault of the Venue . Many months of phone calls and meetings with Barry always ended with high hopes of completion for February. On one visit from Long Island to Florham Park Barry gave us his personal number and told us to reach out any time you wish. Lo & behold , after stating "My word is my bond " the Chapel was completed on February 7th ...The day before my daughter's wedding. On the eve of her Wedding on the way to our rehearsal dinner I received a text from Barry with the doors of the Chapel Opening. How many owners take the time to do this?

Sam The General manager, What can I say about this gentleman except he is the man who does it all ! He is the person who from day one helped us plan the most amazing Wedding. He also met with us on many occasions, answered all of our calls and questions but also spoke to us to calm us and reassure us about the Chapel and how beautiful everything would be. He helped us to plan our menus and every single detail as far as the Ceremony, cocktail hour, and the whole affair. Waiting in the lobby right before I walked my daughter down the aisle stood Barry & Sam to witness the 1st Ceremony in The BEAUTIFUL NEW Park Savoy Estate Chapel.

The grounds inside and out are pristine and the charm of the lobby , Bridal Suites, Man Cave & Grand Ballroom are elegant and warm.

The Cocktail Hour was totally amazing, Martini Bars, Raw Bars, Carving Stations, Italian Stations, Mac & Cheese Bars, Sushi Bars , & so much more including incredible passed Items really overwhelmed our guests . People are still commenting a week later .

The Bridal attendants Mary & Johanna were off the charts . Taking care of My daughter & 9 bridesmaids upstairs in Bridal Suite & then taking care of the men in the man cave kept them busy throughout. I lost a button on my vest and Johanna was quick to sew it back on. Cathy was my MVP as she dealt with last minute seating changes , a sick flower girl & every single request from both the Girls & Guys all with a smile on her face. My favorite part was after spending 6 hours with Mary before the Ceremony was when we went inside she was our Waitress for the night. There was not one single request that she didn't handle & it was such a pleasure watching her efforts for almost 13 hours straight.

The Viennese & Dessert were definitely so delicious. I thought it was one of the best tasting Wedding Cakes I had ever eaten, The Chocolate Foundation, Pastries, & Desserts were over the top .

I have received so many compliments from many of our 200 '+ guests that this was one of the best weddings that they ever attended and how great the food & service was. I feel like I have made some wonderful friends and could go on forever gushing about the Park Savoy. I think anyone who is looking for the perfect wedding venue should...

We got married at the Park Savoy Estate in June of 2024 and it was the big classic wedding of our dreams. I can honestly say, everything from the planning, to the menu, to our vendors and contacts working with PSE were fantastic. The day of our wedding, I couldn't be more proud of how hard my husband and I worked to throw the party of our dreams. The food was fantastic, the room looked beautiful, the grounds were OUTRAGEOUSLY gorgeous for the first week of June; however, and a big however, the service the day of to my husband and myself was surprisingly off. I mean really surprisingly - all our siblings had gotten married within the Park Savoy/Park Chateau family so we knew what to expect. The disappointment started when our party bus arrived. Our closest family members - grandparents, aunts and uncles, parents and siblings - the people you REALLY want to be WOWED by your efforts, were taken through the service entrance by the Maitre' D because the day wedding was running over. They were brought straight up into the Bridal Suite and Groom's Lounge - which I wasn't annoyed with at first, but I paid a significant amount of money with our florist to decorate the entrance hall. I mean full stairwell of flowers, our beautiful seating chart, and a live pianist. Thousands of dollars spent - and they didn't get to see the front entrance until halfway through the event, when we invited them for group photos on the main stairwell. Additionally, our Maitre' D didn't offer to show us the Cocktail Room or Viennese before it opened to our guests publicly. We weren't attending cocktail hour, and we were never asked to walk through it to see the assortment of food we selected. The Viennese was also never announced by our DJ, because he had no idea it had opened until he saw people walking around with plates. The Maitre' D also tried to cut off our photos in the garden to offer us drinks - which I can appreciate in the heat of June, but he basically just stood around in the background of our photos and the photographer assistants had to dictate where we should be moving to try to get him out of them. He worked with the bridal attendants (who mind you, looked no older than high schoolers) to try to bustle my dress, which took entirely longer than I would have liked, and ultimately ended with my bridal party pinning it up themselves because it broke halfway through the process. I wish I would have known to ask to meet with the Maitre' D during the planning process, because it would have swayed me to ask for someone else for the day of. While I don't think any of our guests (outside of our immediate family, disappointed by the entrance) noticed the hiccups, and they all had a fantastic time, my husband and I did, and when you're paying that kind of money you really want everything to your standards that you're expecting. So all that to say - everything is beautiful, and the PSE is such a pleasure to work with leading up to your big day, but I wish we had met with the staff working our event specifically prior to the day of. Requesting someone with more experience would have made us much, much, much happier clients; especially as we consider ourselves to be...
