WE FOUND HAIR IN ALL THE FOOD!!! BEWARE!
BE READY FOR A HAIRY EXPERIENCE AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
This is the WORST experience I've ever had in any restaurant in my life. My three friends and I decided to order this food as take out and it was a terrible idea. While we were at home eating it the four of us found HAIR in our food! At first, I thought I was going to let it slide when I saw the hair in my food but then my friends told me they had hair in their food too. It was truly disgusting. So I decided to call the place and ask for an explanation. They told me to go back in and so we did. The person there was probably the rudest person I've ever encountered in the food industry. He kept denying what happened even though the hair was there. He was mean and disrespectful. He whipped out his iPad mini and took a video of us while we explained what happened until I asked for him to stop. Highly unprofessional. Not only that but he was yelling at us and said we were just "teenagers" when first of all it does not matter! and second of all our crew was in their mid-twenties. Just disrespectful. Then a lady came and told him to just give us a refund for the overly expensive sesame chicken, orange chicken, and pork. We weren't looking to get money back we just wanted to make things right and give them the chance to fix the problem. He did not want to do this but when he did he threw our credits cards around and was just overall rude to our crew. He kept laughing at our faces saying how this is impossible. The lady kept saying how it's not right for us to lie but so we were accused of lying as well. I drove back 15 mins to the restaurant when we found the hair. Why would I waste my time, gas and come back just so I could do this? The reason why I came back is because I find it unacceptable to find 4+ hair in our meat. I will try to upload pictures of the hair so you can see for yourself. I understand sometimes mistakes happen but finding hair EMBEDDED in every type of meat we ordered is not okay at all. And what makes this even worse is their TERRIBLE customer service. We were treated like nothing but trash. The least they could have done is giving us an apology but we were met with...
Read moreSix family members went here for dinner on a busy Saturday night. It was a wonderful dining experience. We were seated promptly as per our reservation time, and our orders were taken smoothly and with all the menu changes we requested. Very accommodating.
The food was delicious, fresh, and with generous portions. This is definitely a cut above most Chinese restaurants. I've read some negative reviews complaining about the service and food, and can definitely say that was the opposite of what we experienced. The barbecue spare ribs were among the best we've ever had, the shrimp were nice and fresh, and the steamed vegetables were perfectly prepared. The menu is extensive.
The tables were spaced far enough apart so we could hear ourselves talk and didn't feel crowded even though the restaurant was busy.
The restaurant is in a strip mall with lots of free parking, which is very convenient.
We definitely will return and recommend this place for excellent Chinese food. It's also a great place for lunch...
Read moreThe higher prices here are justified. Best Chinese food in NJ and not just their szechuan specialties. Even their non-spicy foods like their appetizers are top tier. Their Chef is highly revered. That said we only eat here once a year when 15 years ago we did once a week… Chinese food is just too expensive now. Our to-go bill was over $200.
Besides their most popular dishes i also liked these: -5 appetizer platter with: five spice beef, spicy beef tripe, cold shrimp appetizer, jellyfish -fruity jumbo shrimp(for the kids) -tower gourd -La Zi Ji (spicy chicken on the hidden menu. But i think its hidden because they use non-FDA approved ingredients. That’s why its addicting like drugs)
The food presentation is a step ahead; 5 appetizer platter and “Dao Xie” are visual pleasers. Store Manager is very hospitable. They even helped me carry my to-go...
