False advertisement and I was able to show her the actual written proof from their website. She made no attempt to rectify or call her boss because she was she was quick to say she was the manager. I was unaware that a store manager does not have a manager. Interesting. Anyways it was very wrong and while I'm sure my review wont stop anyone from buying, she as a manager is supposed to think outside the box and most of all problem solve. Bottom line is that had she truly cared, she would have made a call to her manager not just another store. That was and will be the last time I will ever step foot in any GameStop again. If I'm not mistaken which I only have 22 years in customer relations and retention that she has a job because of customers and a lot of returning customers. I'm pretty certain that's how I built my business and was able to retain my clients. Customer service 101 states, take care of each customer like its your only customer. I feel certain that I had a little more experience in both management and customer service than she does as I even ask her to call a manager but she jumped to the conclusion i spoke of that stores manager never allowed me to say and if you are the manager then your next move should be to teach out to your manager as she knew it like she knew everything else. If the district manager reads this whigh would be her manager I am just letting you know coming from someone who owned a business for 20 years and that is at the very least on the same level as you are that, one you lost a customer which I'm sure will result in the loss of other customers because I've always found it incredibly amazing how a lot of business growth isn't always about retention as to truly grow or continue to, when growth is from referrals coming full circle then that's when you know you have hired the right person with the skill set to manage and lead a store. This I know...
Read moreI bought a game called the Ark and I asked the attendant at the Flowood GameStop about the game. They are usually very knowledgeable and helpful. Yet yesterday's response was, "I dunno." He was very disengaged, lacking in customer service. I said to my friend beside me, boy I can't wait for this review to come up. He said, "What did you say?" I repeated my response and told him, you know, on Google. He shrugged his shoulders in a carefree manner. This is my second time having a bad experience there. I took the game home and it was like swallowing shards of glass after playing Detroit, Horizon Zero Dawn and Red Dead. The Ark? No thanks, I'd rather drown. All that to say this, one bad apple can cost a...
Read moreCORBIN AND HIS MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED! He arrives BEFORE opening to purchase drops then has his friends stand in line to grab items before the customers have a chance to purchase. If that wasn't enough then he scalps items from his trunk in the parking lot of GameStop for 150% markup. The manager in charge should be ashamed for allowing this to continue. its disrespectful to the customers and game stop. Guys like this are ruining the collector community and GameStop is enabling it at this point. its sad the community knows corbins name because he's screwed us all over on drops. GameStop needs to seriously revaluate their moral compass and relationship with...
