Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Flowood

This place is the gold standard which EVERY fast food restaurant in the world should strive to emulate! It runs like a well oiled machine! At lunch they're so proficient at serving so many people, staff members have to stand outside and take people's orders, everyone pays while they're sitting in line waiting for the person in front of them to move and then an additional staff member will go to each car and deliver people what they got! It will be a 100° and every single one of them will be the kindest, nicest people you will ever meet. Always. Then when you say thank you, you will always hear back from them a sweet voice saying "my pleasure"

NEVER not even once, has my order been wrong. I've been eating here pretty regularly since the place was built. "Chick Filly" is how it's known in my family.

I was a child and remember when the waffle fry was new. It was in the old Metrocenter Mall in South Jxn. It's a wonder I don't have feathers and cluck 🐣🐥🐔🐓

Their chicken biscuits and honey are my favorite until Christmas comes around. That's when they get M&Ms that taste like peppermint and put them into their to die for chocolate shake, top it off with cream and a cherry 🍒 Delicious! 😋😋 😋

Oh and they make chicken too. Just don't forget to get the Chik Filly sauce to go with it. Don't you dare put ketchup on it or I'll have to whoop your hind end into...

Dec. 2023 Update: The dining room has been open for awhile now, but don't bother trying to eat in - it is nearly impossible to get out of a parking spot once you've parked to go inside. They've reworked the drive-through at least twice but still haven't managed to fix the miserable traffic flow problem, either in their parking lot (people tend to block traffic at a couple of different spots, tying up the works for everybody else) or out on the public road behind the restaurant. It's absolutely awful trying to get through this CFA - or around it if you are in the immediate vicinity for other reasons at the wrong time of day. I really wish they would move to another location where they could manage traffic better. CFA outgrew this location years ago and have been putting bandaid after bandaid on the problem. Frankly, it's amazing the city and the shopping center continue to allow the mess they've created (and I am one who LIKES Chick Fil A's food!)

As of late June 2021, this is just about the only restaurant in the area that still isn’t open for dine-in. Traffic around the restaurant is horrendous, too. Did drive thru like everyone basically does. It was terribly backed up. The speed was just terribly slow. Usually it goes very fast. I noticed as I was eating a lot of cars were having to wait 2 minutes or more for their food once they got to the window. Once I finally got to the window I noticed that in the immediate area right inside was 4-5 people just standing there not doing anything. In looking into the place there were probably 12-15 employees all in that area. No shortage of staff. Just a huge amount of employees doing absolutely nothing. I have never seen that in all my years of going to chic-filet. I have been going to them at other locations around this area for more than 35 years. First time to see such a cluster mess. Also when my food was finally handed to me no one said anything to me. Just stuck their arm out the window and I grabbed it. Had to wait 4 plus minutes for mine once at the window. All I got was a parfait and a large chicken noodle soup. I’ll be back of course but durn it they are headed the route of McDonald’s. This was on Tuesday 8.29.23 around 5:45pm. Chick-Fil-A. Fix...
