Jersey Mikes — Restaurant in Flowood

Went to this location on Jan. 10th, upon walking in there were about five employees one of which was finishing up with a customer and another was sweeping and stated that he would assist us. He put the broom up and "rinsed" his hands then the first guy came over and took our order and went to put gloves on WITHOUT washing his hands FIRST! It's clear that either he/they were not properly trained or just plain nasty and/or do not care! Customers should ALWAYS see employees wash their hands and surely before placing gloves on and NOT touch surfaces while handling food with those gloves on. Talk about cross-contamination, geesh! I canceled my order as much as I wanted that sandwich! Not sure if I'll return and if so, I hope not to have this...

I have been impressed by the service of the team in Flowood since day one. Smiling and respectful staff. Couple of days ago I came with my family and ordered one giant and another regular., the cashier made a lil mistake and charged me with 2 giants instead. We were still in the area when we saw the receipt, so we decided to come back to claim the $4 difference 😉 but then the wonderful who helped me made a special gesture that she’d refund the whole instead of the $4 - Here’s my point, I know people do business to gain profits, but I love to see it when I see people in business who think about people first, then the profit. The big Kahuna! It was big alright, this thing was massive, the size of my arm. When I get a sub, I usually get the biggest size, I thought it'll be like a foot long, this thing was at least 24" 😆 I got it with extra peppers, mushrooms, and onions, hold the Jalapeños. It was good, meat was seasoned, cheese was ooey gooey all throughout, they don't just use bell peppers, but a sweet pepper, threw me for a loop for a second, but I liked it! I'm glad they don't have tomatoes, lettuce and Mayo in their philly, Im not a fan of soggy cold veggies. Overall thoroughly enjoyed, I wonder if I could get double...
