If I could rate this place a million stars, I would ! I went in for an appointment on a Saturday to Miosa Folsom , it was my first time trying in dresses so I had no idea what I was going for. We got there and we were immediately greeted and I was paired with the marvelous Maria. Seriously freaking MARVELOUS. She made me feel comfortable about the entire process. She asked me a few questions and one that I loved was about how I wanted to feel in it. I wanted to be comfortable, confident, myself, romantic, and a little bombshell! Maria brought me some beautiful options and helped me rule out a lot ! She always gave me a few minutes to listen to me and what I had to say before opening up to see what my family thought. Maria stayed with me the entire appointment she never once made me wait or made me feel rushed about trying dresses on. Since it was my first time trying on dresses I didn’t find my dress on saturdays appointment. But I had finally narrowed it down to what I was looking for thanks to Maria. I was bummed because I knew I was meant to find my dress there! Maria immediately offered Me another appointment for the next day and said she would work with me again if I didn’t find my dress at my other appointments. I did not find my dress at my other appointments but I now knew what I was looking for. I went in again and was so excited to get to work more with Maria ! She picked beautiful options but nothing that I fell in love with. But she still persisted! I am a very indecisive person and I was getting worried I wouldn’t have that moment . I even asked her if there was a point where you have to stop trying on dresses and take a step back. She said yes but she knew we were close. She brought two more in and I saved the best for last because that was my dress!!! It was not what I thought I was going to pick for myself but there was no doubt that it was the one. It checked off all the boxes of what I was looking for. Maria again asked me how I said I wanted to feel. I felt comfortable, myself, confident, romantic, BOMBSHELL and so much more! So upset and let down at today's appointment. My first experience here was great, found my dress, bought my sleeves that I tried on with the dress, everything went GREAT. I was told I was a size 10 when I originally wear a size 6... I told them Um no, I'm not a 10 and whoever was upfront told me to size down to 8.. and so I did. Now the wait begins.. spoke with Carly and everything was ordered. When I was trying on my dress, I specifically wanted the shoulder puff sleeves ordered that I have tried on at the time on my first dress shopping. Today, I came to pick up my dress and guess what. Dress is huge on me being a size 8 and I was told I was a size 10???. Keep in mind I usually wear a size 6. Dress was huge on the waist and bust. Anyways.... Where are my sleeves? Who ever was helping me today couldn't find my sleeves and brought me some ugly huge puffy sleeves that were completely off the shoulder. I told her, these are not my sleeves. So she went to the "back" to get my ordered sleeves. She comes back with a bunch of pieces of lace. I was so confused and questioned her like these are not my sleeves. And she goes ahead and tells me she was "under the impression" that I suggested to build the sleeves on to my dress AND she said it with so my sass and caught an attitude when I said I want shoulder PUFF SLEEVES. She comes back with the same sleeves and puts them on me, I told her again. Miss ma'am.. I hate these sleeves do not put them on me. I literally told Carly I wanted the exact sleeves I tried on. Never have I mentioned I wanted to "build sleeves". Anyways, upon my arrival girl upfront made me pay for dress and sleeves. So when I was telling the girl who helped me THESE ARE NOT MY SLEEVES and I specifically WANTED THE SLEEVES I FIRST TRIED ON. My mom went to the back and found the exact sleeves I tried on. So I insisted I get a refund or exchange for the sleeves my mom found on the hanger... she told me they couldn't refund me once it was purchased. What the heck? So you get the wrong sleeves and you tell me I can't get a refund or exchange? I literally took my dress and cried in my car and came home and cried some more. Not only is the dress huge but I also have to "build my sleeves".. as if planning a wedding isn't already stressful. Now I gotta stress about building my sleeves to the exact sleeves I tried on. She followed up after my appointment to make sure I felt good about my decision and answered every little question I had with care. It’s rare to come across someone so passionate about what they do, and it absolutely shows in how she treats her brides.
