Rosena Park East — Attraction in Fontana

Use to be my go to park like 10 years ago. It was very solitary and peaceful. Now its crowded during the week from all the kids soccer practice (which I understand). People walk there dogs and don't pick up their 💩🤦🏽‍♂️. Best time to go, if you can, is in the morning til around 3pm. There's a playground with that foam patting? 2 full basketball courts (my favorite part). There's men's and women's bathrooms which are usually pretty clean. There's a walkway you can run or jog that wraps around the park thats about 1/4 mile or so, but hard to run when all the parents are watching their kids practice and like to sit on the walkway with their potable chairs. I like to give them dirty stares when I run right through...

I would visit this park again. It's near a busy (major shopping area) in Fontana 5 minutes away, but it's in a residential area, so it's set away from the shopping area. It's clean. There are not a lot of picnic tables or any covered picnic areas, but there is a lot of space. Bring your own chairs for extra seating. Bathrooms are clean and had toilet paper, but no hand soap. You can bbq. The park is clean. Plenty of parking....

I've always wanted to pull off on this exit off highway 15. Saw the park on the map and headed out on the short drive. Lots of parking, right smack dab in the middle of a pleasant and safe neighborhood. Lots of grass to frolic around with the kids, dogs and family. Nice and quiet. Looks very safe at night too! We had picked up some lunch and sat on one of the picnic tables and just hung out in the shade. Nice pleasant break...
