In short, the food took too long, some of our oder was missing, and there was hair in the rolls.
The details, if you're interested: while the waitstaff were hopping and doing their best to provide great service, everything else was zero stars. We waited way too long for our food. They only had 2 sushi chefs for the entire restaurant, which was packed at the time. One roll never even made it to our table.
Once we finished eating, we ordered another roll and requested they also send the forgotten roll. We waited so long, again. We finally gave up and asked for the check. The staff was super apologetic and they gave us the 2 rolls for free, which were magically done when my husband went to pay. We took them to-go, since we had already been there well over an hour. However, when we got home we discovered that one of the rolls had several pieces of short, black hair in it. Not dissimilar to the hair of the sushi chefs who, upon later reflection, I realized hadn't been wearing hairnets or hats. We only discovered the hair because I removed a piece of fish from the top of the roll and could then see the hair in the rice. I was disgusted; how much hair did we consume in the restaurant?? It's been a few days and I still feel queasy thinking about it.

Read moreOnly reason im giving this place any stars is for the food. The food was good. Customer service however...is HORRIBLE. we were seated and waited at least 10 mins just to get our water. Then waited another 10-15 minutes for our order to be taken and there were hardly any people in the restaurant. My cousin ordered two different kinds of sashimi. The way they have the sushi and sashimi listed on the menu is: Sushi & Sashimi..it's lists the different types they have and ONE price. We got the bill and the price for each sashimi was double. He asked her why the price wasn't what is ON the menu and she said that price is for the sushi only. Ok then why the hell do you only list one price. If the sashimi is a different price or varies then put a SEPARATE price for the damn sashimi. She had the nerve to say "well most people just know that it's a different price" REALLY?! Well my cousin who came here for the first time and ordered sashimi for the first time did not know. Fix your damn menu. Hire more staff or at least staff that can handle 2 tables at a time. If anybody is thinking of eating here..dont. There are plenty other sushi restaurants around that has better food and way better customer service AND some places will even give u complimentary miso soup and ice cream....

We asked if the order was delay and the manager ask the server but what it looked like the server never place the order. We asked the manager once again and he went to check on the food. By the third time asking he said the cook forgot to place order. By this time I had already started sharing my food with my dad. He felt bad and didn't want to take my plate so we just shared mine. Took a long time for my dads plate to arrive. Manager apologized and said the salmon plate was on the house. At the end of the meal, my dad told the server that he only liked the fish and not the rest. She rudely replied, "you didn't like it but you ate everything." We look at her and say he only ate the fish. MY dad did not eat everything. The salad had a weird dressing on it that look like carrot puree with a baby food consistency. The veggies were bland no flavor. The salmon plate was simple looking to be honest. The only good thing was the egg rolls, spicy edadame and california rolls.
