I shop at the Falcon Ridge Stater Bros often. I am repeatedly frustrated by the staff not taking control of the lines. In the 15 items or less line on a regular basis they allow people to get in line with full basket of items and check them out without saying a word. (Shouldn't it be the cashiers job to remind customers that the line is for 15 items or less?) So you put customers in the position of reminding other customers that the line is 15 items or less? Either they do that or just go with it. Ive been in this position on several occasions. I choose not to say a word except to the cashier and have even spoken with the manager. The other similar issue is the lack of control over the Deli dept and who is next. I stood in front of the deli counter and watched several people be served when they came after me. I asked the deli counter if we grab a number or where is the line and was told by 2 different people that they just rely on the customers to say who is next. This Stater Bros and their management staff appears to have a lack of rules in their store to keep the peace among customers. I have complained to management only to fall on def ears. When you shop at Ralphs this is not permitted. Stater Bros is responsible for managing their lines. Cashiers and management need training. You really can't blame the people behind the deli or the checkers when there is a lack of MANAGEMENT. Let me also say that people behind the deli counter are not too nice.
I think if you read through the comments you will notice quite a few bad reviews on customer service in the Deli Counter. They won't change a thing...
Read moreVeronica the cashier Have the line for another customer, Told me one of my products that I was looking for my big instead of backwall since I was waiting for 2 kids to go on grab eggs on the back shelf in the back of the store, I told her I'd be right back to grab the item since she didn't ask for her Checker to go on grab. Finally got some finally got to the furnace store and saw Anna Marie and she was able to help me find the specific item. I was looking for go back to the cashier. Veronica and she told me that I couldn't cut in line and I would have to go to the back of the line that was another 10-15 minutes. She didn't finish his transaction and then tell him to go away and wine again, but she was able to ask me to do that and told me specifically to my face that I would be cutting since I stepped out of line When you had kids They didn't even know where eggs were in the store even though they just walked past them step out a line for him and he held up the line. Read moreI usually shop here without any problems. Tonight (Sunday 01.10.2021 at about 8pm) literally everything was just not up to par. I walk in and there were no sanitizer wipes for the carts. Proceed to alcohol section to grab some beers, a shopping cart full of empty boxes is blocking an aisle. Proceed to produce section and there were not any plastic bags for produce! Proceed to meat department, they were out of the advertised on sale New York steaks. Proceed to bread aisle, completely out of stock for many of their variety of Stater Bros hamburger buns (and the display is cluttered and confusing), so I grab another brand. Proceed to deli to purchase some fried chicken, and the employee doesn’t acknowledge I am there while she is packing a paper bag with no other customers in sight. The selection of chicken is obviously old and not even enough to fill one order, and the staff member states they close at 9pm. Still had almost 45 minutes until 9pm... Finally go to checkout, having had a very unpleasant experience, and the lone checkout cashier has a line of about eight patrons! There were two persons to bag (which I don’t quite understand if all the checkout lines are closed) and another staff member just walking around aimlessly. Ralphs on Sierra Lakes Parkway is right in front of my home, but I usually drive a bit further for the selection of meats at Stater Bros. Will have to reconsider...
