I am a current student at Arizona College of Nursing--Fort lauderdale Campus. I have completed all of my Gen Ed requirements here and I have just 2 semesters left before I graduate and test for my NCLEX.

The professors are the best of the best, or as I like to say, the cream of the crop! Professor Scott in Health Assessment ensures you can perform a thorough and accurate head-to-toe by the end of the course. Dr. P in Foundations will ensure that you can execute every skill/procedure with full understanding of what you're doing and why you're doing it. Professor Carrington is unbelievably smart, encouraging, and a phenomenal teacher. Dr. Maury is abundantly experienced, intelligent, and truly cares about each student. I wish I could shout out every professor here because they are all uniquely excellent and deserve the recognition, but these were just a few that have really stood out to me. All of the professors not only have strong clinical background/experience, but go above and beyond to help their students succeed and eventually become competent nurses in the field.

The admin side of the school is incredibly professional, yet approachable and welcoming.. and it starts at the very top. Our Dean , Dr. Lucy, is truly a blessing in so many ways. She is brilliant, kind, encouraging, and honest. Her priorities are very clear from the start: the healthy success of her students in the classroom, at the clinical site, and ensuring that every nurse that graduates will deliver compassionate, competent, and safe care.

With that being said, producing quality nurses is not an easy feat. AZC has very high standards and the program is rigorous. However, our 1st time NCLEX pass rate is near perfect, 96%-100%, and this is only possible because the program prepares us so well. I started this journey earlier this year just looking to find information before I take that leap of faith and follow my dreams of becoming a nurse. I spoke with Sophia who is heaven sent. She helped me and provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision. I spoke with a few others schools but I couldn't get the great experience I had when I met with Sophia. So I made my decision to sign up for school with Arizona College. Sophia assisted me every step of the way. I was accepted and started school May 1st. Here we are now in the end of June and I just completed my first two classes. This experience has been nothing short of amazing. My professors were very helpful and supportive. The classes I am taking are hybrid so it works perfect with my schedule. I now work and go to school all while still being a full time single mother. The work is manageable and very educational. I'm learning new things everyday. I am so grateful to the staff and professors at Arizona College for helping me and setting me on my way to becoming a registered nurse this has been my life long dream. If you are looking to change your life and follow your dreams I strongly recommend calling Arizona College you will not regret it. It all starts with one phone call. If you are concerned about cost or being able to juggle everyday life with school they will help you from financial aid to scheduling. I promise you this school is awesome. Where there is a will there is a way. Arizona College helps you find your way. I don't want to sound like a commercial but I'm speaking from my personal experience. I never felt pressured to sign up and what I thought would be an obstacle for me Sophia and the financial aid team found a solution. The only thing left for me to do was come to class my first day and the rest was history. I am now in two new classes and I'm excited to learn more. What makes a great college? Arizona College Of Nursing is a college that makes you feel like family, from the moment you enter until you leave. The front desk clerk who answers the phone; Tamiya is so loving. Our security who protect us. They're loving, gentle, warm, and inviting personalities that will leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling. Our great dean makes himself available, at any hour of the day. He Goes Above and beyond to ensure our Success. No Concern or problem will go unnoticed. Our dean is the best!

The finance department Who will help you with any financial concerns you may have. There is always a Willing agent who calls you back and follows up and makes sure you're getting exactly what you need.

The wonderful Coordinator Gia is like a second mom. Always ensuring you're doing great!

Ms. Andrea who is a class scheduler, got you covered at all times. Our tech department never sleeps, and is always available to assist whenever you need help isn't that amazing.

The Professors! Arizona professors are like your parents and your best friend. That person who will go to any measures to ensure your success! The professor goes above and beyond to ensure every student understands, before moving on to the next class. Professors Are who Make good students! who Became great Nurses. Without a good professor, who is patient and understanding to help you get through the toughest days in college, to help you to be the better version of yourself, and to prepare you for the nursing world. They are not just professors they are our heroes. A professor like Professor Razumovskiy, Dr. Brandt, Dr. Merrit, Dr. Sorin Cruceru Professor Dawn, Professor Whitehead. And so much more.
