Today I am disgusted and upset but once I calm down I plan on enforcing every voice and right that I have left in this great country to fix my situation or warn everyone I can to never do business with Greico. Especially if you are a hardworking minority I would caution you to take a very careful approach when dealing with this company. Let me begin by explaining that I purchased my cars about two years ago from the Greico on federal highway in Fort Lauderdale. Letās jump to present day because that experience is what leads me to today. It appears that the company knowingly sold me an inflated overpriced 2019 Traverse with structural damage and never made it known that it would never be able to be traded in. As a mater of fact from the salesperson who said his name was Jesse but on my documents it lists a whole other person to the finance department it was repeatedly said and encouraged to come back when I am ready to trade in my vehicles. Interesting because guess what I tried to trade in my vehicles at the Grieco on 441 today and boy what an eye opener! It was busy even in the state of this economy so customer service was not the best but hey I guess itās what it is with these major companies now. Anyways they were openly and ready to put me in a new Silverado but we had the issues with my Traverse. It seems that there was a carfax stating that there was major structural damage to it and from what was said to me it should have never been sold. Funny thing is they are telling me this and yet it was sold to me. An unsafe overpriced vehicle. Now it is bad enough when you drive these cars off the lot they lose all of their value anyways but to be told that you were sold a vehicle by a supposedly trusted dealer with the intent of misleading you is a log to swallow! As if rehearsed it was immediately said ohh we all have the same name Greico and we swap vehicles and warranties but we are totally different and separate entities!! Really because when you call the numbers from the website you are directed to all of them. Interesting fun fact I guess! Well long story short I was told that this Chevrolet could do nothing about the situation. No problem I will go back to the one I got it from because that seems to be such a big thing. Now I have not been directed to any managers or provided any contact information or support up to this point which is very disappointing and further lets me know I donāt want to do business here any longer so I left. Hereās where it gets interesting I attempted to contact the Greico on federal highway in Fort Lauderdale seven times after leaving the other dealership on 441. Each time I called the number on the website I was directed to Greico Ford directly across the street. Itās funny how they are all separate entities when there is an issue but they all fall under the same umbrella when they selling the vehicles. I digress. Already a crappy situation and crappy service to add to it, when I called no one would or did give me the information of the General Manager. The most I got was Jose and no one knew or wanted to say his last name or provide his email. Again more shady stuff and behavior. I have two purchased vehicles for over $40, 000.00 each and I canāt get proper assistance of customer service. No problem I have time. So I a voicing my opinion and concerns before k even start this tango so others are aware of the foolishness that is happening at these dealerships. I would of been better off going to a buy here pay here if this is how they treat their customers. So since I could not be assisted in private I will be happy to discuss this publicly. Corporations are getting richer every day on displaying themselves as family friendly and trustworthy but they really donāt care about their image if their service as long as they can make a buck. What this company does not realize is my voice and my opinion will happily warn other hard working families, minorities, and women to beware of doing business with Greico Chevrolet. I hope to be directed properly now. 0 stars was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis dealership sold me a lemon! I bought a used 2021 supercharged Mustang GT with 30k miles in July from this dealership and now I have to replace the damn engine! I traded in my prior Mustang GT for this car, thinking it was time to upgrade, because I put 70k miles on my prior Mustang. I am full time college student and have a full time job, so itās difficult as it is. I saved enough money to buy a newer vehicle, considering, since itās only 3 years old, I should not run into issues. After 1 day the engine light turned on, it had the incorrect fuel injectors, spark plugs were worn, and the catalytic converters were COMPLETELY CLOGGED! However, if I knew it would lead to this many issues I would not have bought it of course. When I went to purchase the vehicle I had initial questions, such as, āDid the tune get returned to stockā, because it had some after market modifications, and the answer was no. I also asked āhas the check engine light turned on at anytimeā, the answer was of course no. I had many other questions, unrelated, but they promised me it had been through their 130 point inspection and nothing to worry about. They also claimed ātheirā mechanics took on daily runs to make sure it drove correctly. Obviously, they couldnāt notice the catalytic converters were clogged. When I took it on a test drive, it drove pretty good. No, poor performance at the time. Thereās not much inspections I can do myself at the dealership, and I had to pretty much take their word, but keep in mind the car is only 3 years old! I ended up purchasing the vehicle and trading in the car. I live 2 1/2 hours from this dealership, so I drove the car home. On the way home I noticed the loss of torque top end. This would lead to many other problems. I would only drive the car to work and school, thatās all. When I had the time, which was a day after buying the vehicle, I checked the injectors and spark plugs and they had to be replaced. After driving it for a couple hours, the engine light turned on. I put it on my reader and threw P0420, P0430, P061A, P06E4. This vehicle did not have after market headers, it had completely stock manifolds with stock catalytic converters. After it threw the cat code, I knew something was up. I called my tuner, and said it had been returned to stock, because of the codes P061A and P06E4, but theyāll take a look at it. I did get it retuned after putting on new injectors, to see what it would do, but it still had issues. Eventually, on my way to school the cars performance just gave out, no torque, would hesitate to accelerate, and blowing a lot of oil. I decided to buy aftermarket headers, because I took it to a shop and they said the passenger side catalytic converter is completely āburnt outā. They removed the cat and it was indeed clogged, a whole bunch of residue just spilled out. I thought the solution would be to remove the cat, but unfortunately the damage was already done. Not even a month into owning the car, I had put down $5k to fix it. I did buy the car as is, but they have no integrity. They will lie to get a sale. As long as they have your money, it does not matter. Anyways, my shop did a compression test and all cylinders on the passenger side had less than 20 psi. I am trying to see what warranty can do for me at this moment, but this dealership wonāt work with you either. I tried calling them a couple weeks into getting the car to see what they can do, but every time the lady answers and tries to transfer me the call would hang up. I gave up in contacting them, because theyāre just scam artists. Do not buy any used vehicles here! Please do not go through what I went through! This car is pretty much draining me dry, and Iām paying for a basically new car I canāt even drive
My initial review has been deleted. I will post again. As I said prior, I have full receipts and videos of damages to prove this dealership...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDo not make the mistake of having your car serviced here.
I purchased my Bolt last year, and I have been very happy with it. The time finally came for my first servicing, so I scheduled an appointment at Grieco and added in the installation of a Thule rack as I had a voucher for money off accessories from when I purchased the car. Both of these things were terrible decisions and I will not be bringing my car into Grieco for any further service or accessories.
First off, I was quoted a price on the phone prior to coming to the dealership that was almost $100 different than what the total ended up being (this was all under $1k so $100 difference is significant).
Second, I was told that the Thule rack I ordered would arrive around 10am. I wasn't planning on picking up the car until after work, around 4:30, so that was alright with me. Around 2pm, I received a call stating that they hadn't forgotten me and that the work would be done by the time I got there. It wasn't. When I arrived to pick up the car at 4:30, I was told it would be another 30-40 minutes. I was a bit miffed, but went to get some dinnner with my fiance. I received a call at 5pm stating that my car was just about finished and I could head over. It's a good thing I had a dinner to finish, because when I arrived at 5:30, they were still putting finishing touches on the rack install. 10 hours for a Thule rack install, tire rotation and inspection. Ridiculous.
When I saw the car, I thought the racks seemed a bit close together but at that point I was really wanting to get home so I paid the (overpriced and well above quote) bill and left. When I got home, I fished the Thule rack installation documents from the box to compare to the installed rack. The rack was installed out of measurement, and not by just a little bit. According to the docs, the front of the rack should have been 12 1/4" from the top of the windshield. It was just over 16". Measurement between the rack should have been 29 1/8 inches. It was 26. This is simple stuff and if they can't even get within the ballpark on measurements like these, there is no way I will trust them to touch my car again, aside from when I have them remove the rack under my supervision.
Once again, do yourself a favor and steer clear of the service center at Grieco of Fort Lauderdale.
Almost forgot - I received a completely unsolicited text from the used car lot salesman in the middle of the day, wondering if he could buy my car. That I just purchased about half a year prior.
Stay...
