Unfortunately we found out their preordered baked goods are not baked fresh as expected. We paid a hefty premium expecting fresh baked brownies for my daughters birthday party. About 30 minutes after I dropped the brownies off at the school the teacher called and said they were frozen solid and inedible! I called Sweeter Days in a panic and they said they would give me refrigerated (not frozen) replacements (still not fresh- admittedly at least several days old) as long as I was willing to go pick up the frozen brownies from the school and bring them back so they could resell them! I explained there was no way I had time to do this and make it back in time for the party and they reluctantly agreed to supply the refrigerated brownies as long as I promised to bring back the others later. Feeling held hostage, I reluctantly agreed. Not only did I spend several hours driving back and forth to pickup and return what likely is a total cost of around $10 for the bank shop ($100 my cost for 24 brownies), I sadly found out that nothing is fresh baked. They had no concern for the value of my time and even told my wife we were playing some sort of game to keep the frozen brownies. I can promise, as soon as we found out they were frozen, had we had anything at all lined up to replace them and not ruin the birthday, we would have done it. I see no reason to pay a premium price for days old frozen baked goods. If I want that, I can visit Publix frozen food section.
