This furniture store was the worst experience I could’ve ever had. My wife and I went to buy bedroom sets for a new condo and a couch set. We had to wait several weeks for delivery to which they only delivered one bedroom set out of two Which was damaged and not even the bed we selected. When we asked why the second bed had not been delivered they responded that they were still waiting for the model we had requested. At this point they had also delivered our couch And did not remove the heavy packaging and cardboard. We waited patiently for the second bed to be delivered and the first one replaced because it was damaged. Much to a shock… They delivered the same bed as the first one that we Never even ordered. On the second delivery we ask the delivery people to please remove the cardboard in packaging from our couch to which they replied that it was not their responsibility that it should’ve been the first delivery guys. These are delivery men that were wearing Rooms To Go shirts so they were definite employees of the company. We had several conversations back-and-forth with the call centre and with the manager of the store in Fort Lauderdale to which we completely expressed our frustration over having damage furniture and wrong beds. The sales person that sold us the The beds did not even bother to tell us that the slots were very small and thin and that the beds would require a boxspring. Much to our shock we were running around at the last minute before the arrival of family to go purchase boxsprings. When all this was happening the sales person was nowhere to be found and I was directed to the call Center. The call-center did not offer any compensation for having purchased beds that we didn’t even like. Not only that but when we called back to purchase a dresser and try to get the combination price we could not. I would never recommend this furniture store to anyone. The service is unprofessional and lousy. Now I am stuck with two beds that I don’t really like and a bad taste in my mouth from this store. After I was given a generic response from the owner if there was anything they could do. I gave them my information and they were NOT hEARD FROM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! ZERO...
Read moreI went in to R2G in Fort Lauderdale as a third time repeat customer and have most always been very happy with my sofa selection from there. Though I did have one issue in the past with the quality of a Cindy Crawford sofa, R2G rectified the situation fairly quickly and my next sofa was amazing.
This time however, having purchased from the floor salesman Andy in the past, I reached out to purchase a sofa for a new property I had purchased and remodeled. Andy made the selection process seamless however due to some unforeseen delivery issues the long part of the sofa just could not fit into the elevator and was unable to be delivered.
Disappointed as anyone would be, and probably more upset than a person should ever get over a silly sofa, I had to go back into the store and re-select. Again, Andy was amazing. This selection, though not what I wanted for my design, was delivered successfully. The problem was, nice as the sofa looked, the cushions after just one weekend were not holding up the way that I would have expected. So, I reached out to Andy and requested another re-selection. Andy involved the store manager and any other team would have probably been annoyed with me (as I am sure they probably were) but these guys never showed it.
I made my 3rd selection which after getting it into the condo I realized it was just not the right sofa and it needed to go back. Yup! I’m that guy, I want what I want.
So back it went and I exchanged it for my last and final sofa. However, when I got it delivered - once again the long piece did not fit in the elevator. Man, I was furious. I demanded a refund. Mike was kind enough to grant me the refund. Then, in an instant Andy and I both had a meeting of the minds and realized I could change out the chaise for a corner and keep my sofa. So after all of that - problem solved.
Andy and Mike, never lost their cool with me at least not directly to me. They patiently helped me solve my problem with getting the right sofa into my new space and I could not be happier with the final...

However after leaving the store BRACE yourself because you will be in be hands of the WORSE customer service in the industry. I purchased a full bedroom set and I liked it so much that I paid almost 3k cash and I was willing to wait for almost two months to have it all delivered. The bed was delivered first and I noticed the side rail had been scratched by the delivery guys so immediately called the store and after speaking with two people at the store and being hung up upon by a rep I was told that a replacement will not be issued but a technician will be sent to evaluate the damage??? The technician was scheduled to come to check it out a MONTH after the delivery date. A month goes by and the technician only comes over and PAINTS over the F up rail. This is insane! I paid all this money to have BRAND NEW furniture!! But this isn’t over yet... then two months after the purchase I am finally receiving the 2 missing nightstands and the delivery guy comes knocks on my door and tells me “Rooms to go F up your order” and that he had in the truck the wrong items!!!!! After 1 hour on the phone “customer service rep” apologizes and offers me $50 dollars credit for the delivery fee and tells me I have to wait two more months to have it all delivered. The fact that I’m paying so much money for something and have to wait almost 5 months to have what paid it for I find it utterly ridiculous for a “ reputable” company to offer such a miserable shopping experience. After they close the sale and take your money they won’t take accountability at the store and they will tell you “I am sorry there is nothing I can do call customer service” and hang up on you. They will hand you over to the incompetent, poor trained and really unprofessional “customer service line”. I will NEVER give them my business again and neither should...
