I had heard about this place at work, and it sounded amazing. We stopped in as the online menu showed the bogo deal in person as well. When we walked in, I mentioned I was interested in the bogo deal. I asked if you had to order online for it or in person. The employee said online only. Ok, no problem, we sat at a table and placed the order. After the ticket went through, they verified it was my order and began to prepare it. When the order was ready they simply pointed to a bag on the counter dismissively and I looked and noticed there were only 3 items (there were 3 of us and 2 ordered from the bogo so item count should have been 5) I asked about the bogo items and was told despite ordering directly from the bogo tab online that I didn't select 2 of each bogo so I didn't get the deal. I asked ok, how can we make this right and was dismissed. I said if I wasn't able to have the advertised deal honored, I'd decline and would like a refund. The worker then said, "Oh my English, it is not good. Let me call my boss so he can tell you. She called and hands me the phone, and the owner again reiterated that because I didn't think to push 2 for bogo, I would not get 2, nor would he refund the order. At that point, I was irritated because what?! I told him he has 3 options. Honor the promotion Refund and rering for the bogo Refund me, and I'll go elsewhere
Again, he refused to back down, and i said, "That's fine. I'll file a complaint with my bank. Suddenly, the worker is frantically digging for my order and decides to make the second bowls.
Tbh I will NOT visit this establishment again as what should have been an easy fix to an error on my part understandably, but it was not clear for the bogo that you need to...
Read moreUpdate 1/24/24 : after thinking, it’s not possible to get worse service I reluctantly and against my better judgment order for pick up. Two of my chop chops are made wrong, so I called to let them know. I didn’t ask for a refund or anything. Just simply notifying them. This is where it gets crazy.
They put the manager on the phone and He proceeds to argue with me and tell me the orders were made right and I’m lying. So after being called a liar, I had to go ahead and drive all the way back to the store. Upon walking in the store immediately they knew who I was, I mean, who else would be coming back with a bag and three chop chops, right?
The manager then starts back pedaling and not apologizing but justifying his actions. Saying he never called me a liar and that the employee swore he made the order correctly. All the while the employee who messed up the order is telling me “its not a big deal, it’s just a mistake” correct, your mistake. However, when I’m paying $40 for three bowls of chicken and rice, I expect my order to at the minimum be done correctly. Absolutely mind blowing they’re in business still! I really hope the GM or Owner sees this. Their store is being driven into the ground!!!
Showed up on Sunday night January 7th at 7:30 PM and tried to walk through the door only to find it locked. The employees behind the counter waved at me as to tell me that they were closed. Read moreFood: I was super happy with both the quality and the quantity of food here. I got the deluxe wrapito with double meat on several occasions and was actually shocked at how generous they are with all the fillings but especially the protein. Their double chicken is probably 4x the chicken you get at Chipotle. Then there’s the price: as of 1/25 the deluxe wrapito with double meat, a brownie and a fountain drink is under $18. Absolutely unreal. This would be $27 at chipotle, cava or similar.
(Side note: get plenty of sauce INSIDE the wrap as it can be a little dry otherwise)
Service is great. The servers seemed a bit shy but super friendly, efficient and really made an obvious effort to create a good product.
I think the main target here is the to-go sales but still the Atmosphere is pretty uncomfortable: the super bright lights are great for seeing how clean the place is but not at all nice for sitting and eating. blaring music is insanely loud and not comfortable for sitting and eating either. blasting ice cold AC is wild for January. I bet it feels great in July but not now.
