I just finished attending The Ombré 3 day boot camp and I would definitely recommend it to anyone, including individuals with prior experience. It is definitely worth your time, effort and money. I often attend workshops/classes with low expectations because usually it’s not what I was expecting and don’t want to be disappointed. This class met my expectations and some more. They answer all your questions, Lisandra particularly explains her experience with other products, machines etc and tells you the “why” she would or wouldn’t use certain products. I particularly value her knowledge because it will save me time and money, not having to research certain information and purchase different products to know which ones work best. She’s done it, has plenty of experience and knows what she’s talking about. All three days you receive hands on training and the third day you practice on a client model alongside Lisandra or one of the other artists. I was placed with Erika, and she is lovely. Impeccable work, she guided me through the process effortlessly and critiqued me on how I can improve and what areas to focus on. Evryone develops their own technique and I learned a few different techniques from Erika as well. Sean also provided a wealth of knowledge on the business/marketing side which is just as important. He provides you with simple strategies that can be easily implemented. Alongside the brow shading machine, you also receive a kit with all the basic supplies you will need to start, and a handbook with step by step instructions on how to map, color theory, contraindications etc AND access to brow kingdom which I have not had the chance to check out but I can online imagine the immense amount of information and knowledge on there. I had the privilege of doing a two day private training on Ombre Brows with Lisandra back in mid March. It was honestly the best decision & investment I could've ever made. Looking back at the other PMU trainings I've done, invested time & hard earned money in… it was a joke. And to think these are supposed to be "reputable" companies but in the end they're factories. Training with Lisandra is none of those things. She’s knowledgeable, detail oriented, patient, did I say patient? lol & gives you all the ins & outs of this business. She doesn’t hold back on anything (even the secrets). She takes her time with you, so you never feel rushed throughout the training. The quality of her service, products & overall end results is worth every penny. Investing in yourself is never a risk, if you believe in yourself. After doing 3 models (which are provided) along with the knowledge & tools… I walked out of there with the confidence I needed to succeed. She see’s more talent & ability within you, than you see in yourself. Amazing experience and service from this place and Lisandra! I have and still will recommend people to her for their brows. I recently went to her because I am in love with her work and researched for 2 years before getting it done, I even stalked her page from Boston! 😆 and when I moved back to Miami I decided to get mine done. The first time she does them light which makes sense she would rather start light than have to remove the ink because either way you are getting a touch up from her several weeks later from the initial appointment. She gives her clients her undivided attention while she's tattooing and she makes sure you are satisfied with her stencil shape prior to performing the tattooing. That is what I found the most comforting, because I have seen how many women go for thicker brows and a more airbrush look whereas I preferred a more natural look to mainly cover a scar on one of my brows because I do not find that style fitting for my face. She doesn't force any specific styles but she does give ideas if you're up for a change. I also have challenging skin which made the healing process difficult, again it fades because it starts light but gives you an idea of what you'd like for the follow up. Follow the healing instructions she gives you and trust in the healing process. If you are neglectful to maintaining the wound care you will be dissatisfied with it. I checked my brows the first time it healed by brushing the hair in the opposite direction to see the skin and my skin took some of the ink and now I'm still within the healing process of the second round. Overall I'm very happy with my brows and I have to say she is an amazing permanent makeup artist and professional who cares about her work and takes it very seriously.
