New Hong Kong Restaurant — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

We ordered crispy orange beef with fried rice today along with other things. We were given orange chicken with beef rice, when I called to explain she asked me if I could come back to get correct order and I told her I would. When I went back the man behind the counter ignored me while on the phone. Eventually another employee had to point me out again. I explained my issue , he called someone on the phone and yelled on the phone with them for over 5 minutes. Then a lady from the restaurant called me on my phone and said they would exchange it but I had to bring the food back and pay 2.95 difference. I had to go get the food again and come back. Then the man behind the counter scolded me for some bites being out of the food, I told him of course we tasted it, that's how we knew it was wrong. He was not going to let me exchange it for the new food, I asked him why he was upset , was he going to try to serve it to someone else? Noticing the customers watching he came from behind the counter and threw it away in the garbage for all to see. O then was given the new food that I had to pay extra for. After paying 50 bucks for the wrong food, three trips to the store and extremely rude service I would never go back. To make it worse then we had to eat cold...

...chose this restaurant because it is new to the area and wanted to give it a chance, i did. here is my REVIEW: ... 1.) speed = A Grade 2.) pork fried rice = A Grade 3.) garlic ...honey chicken wings = B Grade 4.) sweet and sour pork = D Grade 5.) Barbecue ribs = D Grade 6.) Hot & Sour soup = F Grade. 7.) ...charged me for extra sweet & sour sauce = F Grade (not good, took from Driver's tip). 8.) ...Driver, professional = A

COMMENT: ...i'm from San Francisco, CA. i grew up on Jackson & Grant Street... ChinaTown. moreover, i have lived in Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and NYC. ...so unfortunately for Florida, my pilate for Chinese food is exceptionally well-trained. ...yes, i ordered sweet foods because that is common for this market. i love delicacies such as: beef organs, chicken feet, tripe etc... however, the items i eat in the aforementioned cites are not on their menu.

bottom-line, the food was OK! the food is a bit expensive for what you get and the quality is average...except for the pork friend rice which is up there among the big world cities.

will i order from them again? maybe? i'm still full. so i'm not thinkin bout ordering more Chinese food at the moment....

My recent experience with this restaurant was beyond horrible. I made an online order that was suppose to accommodate a total of 7 people, once we received our food it turned out to be enough food to feed at least 3 people! AND the cost was close to $100.00. Their online menu differs from what they have in the restaurant physically which results on misinformation and to be under the wrong impression of what you're actually ordering, which is what I went through. This type of error should not be what customers have to go through. We are in 2019 and still restaurants manage to make mistakes like this. I understand everyone is human but something as simple as having matching menus online and at the restaurant has no excuse to be wrong. If this is something that their online carriers such as Uber Eats or Door Dash has to fix then restaurants need to make sure that their menus are displayed correctly if they want happy customers.
