Providence Thrift Store (Fort Oglethorpe) — Attraction in Fort Oglethorpe

I usually would write this place good service .....but my recent encounter has me upset. we donate here alot without even tax deduction slips to help this company earn money for themselves. September 1st we purchase items from the store for my husband and I. There was a line for the dressing room since they have only one and all customers had arms and buggy full of clothes. We had only a few items. My foot was hurting due to a fracture so my husband decided he would try them on at home and we would bring back within 2 weeks the items that didnt fit due to his work schedule as the signs says we can. Well before the two weeks I found out I was layed off from my job. And then we honestly forgot with the stress. I called to speak to the manager who said I only had 14 days to return the items and now it was past that time and it didn't matter the situation..even though I had a receipt and tags still on items and it has been 18 days For a business this is sad bc this does not help the community. It actually has hinder bc those clothes were for my husband's job. And the donations we make make the company money and all I wanted to do was exhange the clothes. I thought this was a Christian establiment but whatever they are they have put...

If I could give it zero I would ..don't buy beds from here spent almost 400 dollars for a bed and they sold it to someone else and they also paid almost 400 the lady there didn't put sold so they delivered a bed we didn't pay for now mind u iam in recovery from surgery cant walk on bed rest broke my ankle off my bone still almost 3 weeks in recovery talked to Dan he did give us another bed but my back an my fiance back hurts everyday she moves the bed around the whole room numerous times it won't get comfortable and mind u this is a heavy bed it sucks she's in pain when we wake up everyday every morning it's bullshit how we didn't even get the comfortable bed we paid for someone else has it now and we spent almost 400 dollars and got this bad lumpy bed in return this is wrong and crooked thanks now we're gonna need a chiropractor now for out crooked backs and thank you for screwing us over means alot never being able to sleep and so on low income have other bills can't get another one wouldn't there...

I normally love shopping in all the Providence thrift stores, however, Monday, I entered the Ringgold, GA store at 2:19pm and the first thing I picked up was priced 79 cents. I carried it around the store the entire time I was there. I tried on clothes and walked around until my husband got there at 3:16pm. We finally went to check out at 3:56pm and Pam waited on us. At which time, she proceeded to tell me that she had just put the 79 cent item out for $1,99 30 minutes before and that was the actual price. When I told her that I had been carrying it around for over an hour sh basically called me a liar and reiterated that she had only been there for a half hour and did I want it for $1.99 or not?
