My wife and I went here on Fathers day and we had a wonderful time. The server, Mara, was very attentive and accommodating even as the place began to fill up with people. The manager on duty, we didn't catch his name, was hustling around making sure all the patrons were taken care of.
I love what they have decided to do with the pizza. The Focaccia bread as the crust is innovative and just works. The price point is perfect for the portions. It lasted my wife and I another meal. I ordered the Night Night Spicy and it is one of the best pizza's I've had in awhile. Everybody does the same things all the time, so to have something different in a clean, beautiful and comfortable environment in downtown Fort Walton I think this place will do well.
The two beers I had were solid to style beers, perfect beer for pizza. The West Coast IPA had a little bready malt character with an assertive bitterness that lends itself well to cheesy, spicy, delicious pizza. The Ichirou was a clean blonde that cleansed the pallet but still light enough in body to enjoy with a full stomach.
Cheers to Woodfoot for taking chances on what people expect when it comes to pizza. Do yourself a favor and stop by, grab a pizza, and enjoy great service. We need more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAwful experience. My fiancĆ©e and I came in recently and were met with cold, unprofessional service. Our server seemed more interested in gossiping with coworkers than doing her job--didn't catch her name, but wish I had. Our appetizer and pizza arrived cold, and every time we asked a question or needed something, it felt like we were a burden. It was also obvious the staff were talking about customers. Completely unprofessional, especially considering we're the ones supporting the business. The food itself was underwhelming (something we'd seen in other reviews but hoped wasn't true). To top it all off, when we went to pay, we noticed a tip had been added that we did not authorize. I've seen others mention this shady practice in their reviews too. Stealing from customers? Really? The owner's responses to negative feedback are backhanded and performative at best. As a lifetime local, I urge you to skip this placeāthere are plenty of amazing small restaurants around with better food and way better service. This...

We made the trip over from Destin and it was so worth it. Wood Foot is a gem of a breweryālaid-back vibe, great team, and absolutely exceptional food. The pizza? Next level. Perfectly crisp crust, fresh toppings, and seriously flavorful. The salads were just as impressiveāfresh, balanced, and thoughtfully made. You can tell they put real care into every dish.
The beer selection was fantastic tooāsomething for every taste, and everything we tried was smooth and full of character.
The staff was warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. We were enjoying ourselves so much, we completely lost track of time and had to pull ourselves away sooner than we wanted. Already planning our next visitāthis place is that good....
