Went to watch sinners last Friday with a friend their little cousin we arrived late and the movie had started already so we purchased some snacks and went to our seats where the little cousin answered a phone call on speaker in the movie theater while I will admit that was rude a woman across from us was very rude in her response from it the lady asked the little cousin to get off the phone where she apologized and hung up and came back with “you shouldn’t be on the phone no damn way “ and of course that lead to an argument between the two the lady left to go complain and about 10 minutes later all of us were asked to leave not just the 1 person ALL of us and they refused us a refund because we “came together “ and I don’t mean leave the auditorium I mean leave the theater and on top of that the “manager” her name was summer spoke to me as if I was a child and I did not appreciate that’s not even the slightest as a grown woman myself and would not listen to a word I said when I said while yes It was not appropriate for her to be on her phone how is it appropriate for a grown woman to swear at a MINOR and get away with it and be able to watch the movie in peace while the all three of us were removed for 1 persons actions and even refused to give our money back only because we “came together “ which to add we came in separately which i'm sure there are cameras on the premises to back that up as well they came in on there own time separately we had arrived before the little cousin on top of that I think a fair stern warning would be more appropriate then an instant removal especially when she claimed it’s in the previews and that it was "common sense" when I stated we arrived late and did not see any of them or the warning while this may be common sense for some it’s not for everyone especially with young people i am contemplating on going back and speaking to someone even higher up than summer because this was unacceptable as a solution on behalf of amc I have been there many times with my family and never have had any problems of the sort like this but if I do return with my statement I definitely want to speak with the head or owner of the establishment instead since the manager summer seems to not want to listen and make all us pay for one person’s actions i at the least would just like my money back as neither i or my friend should have to pay or face consequences for another person’s actions!!!! on top of that their were teenagers in there that weren't acting appropriately and did not face any consequences i had a child smack and even garbed the back of my chair yet they get off scotch free they should have employees in the theater to monitor I've seen many theaters have them but not this one which going over other reviews disturbances by children being ignored is not...
Read moreA reliably mediocre experience that gets straight up goofier every time. There is never a bartender in the PM hours. The last time there was she was so young and untrained that she had never seen a horizontal ID. 20 minutes to make 2 drinks and refusing to serve people clearly 50 and over without an ID. Refusing to fill popcorn with an excuse of rationing, or selling out of popcorn is wild. The soda machines are always half out of everything, sticky, and noisy. A teenager tried to start a fight with me for looking around at the soda machines. Trash is always overflowing. Bathrooms are never clean or fully stocked. Very crowded for never full theaters. Security has been brought in, I assume to try and tame the floods of rambunctious teens. Dozens of them come in from the back entrances yelling and running around in the common areas. Last time the theater was hot and overhead lights were left on during the movie. The screen had a pattern burnt in that remained for the entirety of the film. Movies always start late. Lots of seats are in need of maintenence. They have a lot of teens working there to be operating as if they're understaffed. Less adults work there every time I go. Perhaps they need to offer better pay. On the bright side I have almost never been treated rudley by staff, and its rare to have any difficulty purchasing tickets online, or not being the only one to purchase my seat. I have not had issues with people behaving boldy uncurtoius in the theater during films. I have never seen fleece blankets or other extras mentioned in good reviews for sale. I'd like to keep coming here but I don't want to imagine how much worse...
Read moreMe and my friends had the WORST experience EVER. I'm not usually a complainer but this is ridiculous, I spent $44.42 on 3 seats just to have a horrible time. We were there yesterday night for the Five Nights At Freddy's movie at 7:30pm and it started off horrible. Someone had taken our seats because someone in the C row took theirs and told us to sit next to them in someone else's spot. The peoples seats we took called the attendants and it took them 10 minuets to just move us to our spots. So the beginning was taken away from us. But then the group that took up all row A and B where HORRIBLE! All through the movie they ran up and down the stairs, screamed, flashed the screen with flashlights, had their phones on, made very inappropriate comments at us, to the other viewers, and at the jumpscares in the movie, took their clothes off and swung it around in front of the screen where everyone could see, and screamed and pointed at me and my friends because we were dressed up for said movie then made rude comments about us when we were just sitting and trying to watch the movie. Then on and off the attendants came in talked to them, and stood there to watch them for maybe 3 minutes then walked away. All we to do wanted was to watch the movie in peace and that was taken by rude customers that would not behave at all for a whole 1 hour and 50 minuets. and when the movie was all done they were fighting right Infront of the door when leaving making us uncomfortable and uneasy. If I could give 0 stars I would because they should have been kicked out from the beginning. I dont think ill be coming back because of...
