We have been told about how good this place is so my husband and I had to come try it. I’m not sure what all the fuss is about. We won’t be back. First the coke was absolutely horrible tasted all syrup. That should have been all I needed to know. So I asked our waitress was the chicken fried steak real and she says yes. So thinking since that’s real then the steak fingers would be also but no they came out just like DQ pre frozen. A good waitress would inform you of them being fake seeing you asked about the steak being real. The onion ring on the plate were so filled full of grease it’s unreal. My husband asked for a club and was told all vegetables would be on the side which were not. A club sandwich that had the turkey cooked on it which I’ve never seen. The bacon was flimsy and horrible. He took maybe two bites and we’re done. We had to ask for his fry’s that he had ordered and they came out like they had been sitting there and all they did was buy them back in the grease. Extremely greasy and very hard. He did how ever eat his side salad but again the waitress assured him there were no carrots in it and there was. I’m not sure she knows all the food. She was aware we didn’t like the food at all and brought our ticket them brought a second ticket and told us the manager would only allow her to take one meal. The manager was leaning on a rail most time we were their. You would think he would have came and asked what was wrong with our food. You could clearly tell they are not about the customers or the appearance and taste of the food. Pictures are of the food we left and didn’t eat.

Food is bar food. Had a salad and it was very basic and small. Tried fries, so very greasy. Tried shrimp tacos, not too bad, burger was good. Appetizer plate is smaller than previous order but decent. Just remember fries are NOT GOOD due to grease infusion. Let's talk about drinks. Cold and good and decent priced Service is good, lots of attention and friendly faces. Manager comes around to visit and asks how all is going, that's a nice touch. Vast options on drinks but you have to d/l an app which is a pain but gives you loads of options. I just repeated myself :) It's still a family place with a game room and lots of tvs for sports. You can sit in dining room or bar or outside with patio options. Still a good solid place for bar food and good priced adult drinks.

The food is awesome and for a good price you get plenty of it and a huge selection at that.food comes out really fast I come here often there are more tvs than imaginable even a 24 inch at every booth.the staff and waitresses are on point and very friendly they have a game room so my children can play and keep them entertained till i get done eating. They are always having events and fun activities.karaoke is on Wednesday and its really fun they have an awesome bar area with a nice outdoor covered patio section. I recommend to come try it out and judge for yourself you will not be disappointed.

I moved to Texas from Florida during the pandemic, and as everyone knows there has been a very long wait to get a new license so I have been stuck with my Florida ID until July which is when my DMV appointment is. I frequent No Frills with my fiancĂ©, typically we will stop in for a few beers after work. Last night (Saturday May 15th) our friend from Florida had arrived and we took him here for dinner and a beer. It typically takes a very long time to be served here which has never bothered us much as we have worked in food service and understand the struggles and how the pandemic made that worse. The waitress was pretty quick to get to us last night and as soon as she came over to our table she immediately asked for ID’s (I didn’t think much of it since we were gonna be ordering a beer but this is a restaurant as well so not sure why they wanted our ID’s if we could have just been ordering food), since we have Florida ID’s they have normally taken them back to the manager to double check them (nowhere else that I’ve been to in DFW does this, but to each their own). After about 5-10mins the, I’m assuming, manager comes to our table with our ID’s and says “I do not feel comfortable with these...” he continues to explain that he tried “running” them and “contacting” Florida which I think was just talk because if he actually had a way to run them or “contact” Florida there would have been no problem 😂. We explained to him that we are regulars at no frills and they’ve never turned us away before, and he continues to say “I just don’t feel comfortable with these, you should go to blank restaurant/bar, they’re a lot more liberal about taking these” huh?? Manager, I would like to inform you that I had multiple other forms of ID on me, we all had cigarettes or vape products, and covered in tattoos (typically if someone is covered in tattoos it’s taken them quite a few years to get and afford those). Wasn’t gonna waste my time getting out my passport to show this man, this place is no longer worth my time. My fiancé’s immediate and extended family all live in Burleson and frequent here and they’ve not only lost our business, but all of theirs as well. Not exactly something you want to happen at the end of your 80 hour, 6 day work week. I wasn’t going to leave a review until my mom and some other family suggested, as they were all appalled with this as well. I get trying to be strict and not allow serving to underage people, but turning away two 23 year old and a...

If you haven’t been to No Frills Bar and Grill yet, you’re seriously missing out—especially if you haven’t had the pleasure of being served by the incredible Glenda. Let’s just get this out of the way: Glenda is an absolute rockstar. She’s the kind of person who makes your whole day better the second she flashes that huge, warm smile. She’s always on top of things—attentive without hovering, friendly without being fake, and she remembers your order like she’s known you for years. She’s honestly half the reason we keep coming back (the other half being the food, of course!).

Speaking of food: it’s consistently awesome. Doesn’t matter what you order—burgers, wings, nachos, salads—they knock it out of the park every single time. It’s like they sprinkled a little magic on everything coming out of that kitchen. You’ll never leave hungry, and you’ll definitely be thinking about your meal long after you’ve left.

And if you're a sports fan, this place is a dream. TVs line literally every wall, so no matter where you're sitting, you've got a great view of the game. Whether it’s football Sundays, playoff season, or just a Tuesday night, there’s always a good buzz in the air.

Bottom line: No Frills is the kind of place you go once and end up becoming a regular. Great atmosphere, fantastic food, and seriously—Glenda is the best of the best. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You’ll see exactly what I mean.

Kevin, the manager, isn’t...
