There was an incident involving the staff at the Burleson location tonight 5-15-25 and my daughters and their friends. It was my daughters birthday so her and friends were having a birthday dinner. Apparently words where said between the kids and the waitress who had an attitude with them, making comments, rilling her eyes and who decided not to serve them and walked around restaurant telling others of the situation creating dirty looks not only from the restaurant staff but other guests towards my kids. I called and tried to speak with the manager who said her name was Erica (the store manager) and she immediately misunderstood me and decided to rudely raise her voice on the phone and get defensive. She said my kids don't need to be out in public speaking the way they did when she wasn't even there. I asked for her boss's information and she got quiet. I asked for it again and again she raised her voice and said she was getting the info. I then said how was I suppose to know cause i asked for her boss's info and she got quiet. She then said she was going to end the conversation, refuse anymore calls from me and refused to give me a Mr. Johnny Walls's (who she said was her boss) information. She said she would have him call me instead, and I asked when so I know to be looking for the call and she said didn't know and ended the call. Apparently this establishment is one sided and only wants to hear the opinion of their employee (who is guess are right) and not any comments from the customers.( I guess who are always wrong) I was told by my kids the manager made a comment that she wouldnt serve my kids either and when I asked her on the phone about this, again immediate defense mode, and she denied making the comment and instead said she had the conversation she had with my kids recorded. im unsure how I was denied the opportunity to speak on behalf of my kids and instead get told what happened by someone that wasn't even there and only cared about what the wait staff's opinion was without getting the full story. So I'm writing this review in hopes I can speak with a corporate level manager ASAP. I hope corporate level management cares enough to clear this up. I believe the restaurant acted unprofessional in the wait staff and possibly management as well by creating the scenario of dirty looks and spreading unnecessary drama. I also believe that my kids were spoke to in a rude manner especially with how defensive and rudely I was spoken to with voices being raised. THESE ARE KIDS, AND GROWN ADULTS NEED TO REMEMBER THAT! I posted a comment on the restaurants website to be contacted back so they have my cell...let's see if I get this call.. Either way if anyone ever has any issues here make sure you get the store manager's bosses info because they definitely won't give it to you and that's also unprofessional. Again there's more opinions that just the restaurants...
Read moreThe first time a few weeks ago, went with a large group for drinks. The waitress told us the system wouldn’t let her ring up our shots that we had to wait 20 minutes per round. Was upset but we waited, we were celebrating a birthday and many of us were ordering rounds. Every single time she reminded us of the twenty minute wait, saying the manager said we had to wait 20 minutes the system wouldn’t let her ring it up. Then the manager comes to the table and was very condescending “I know you love our cheap shots but there is just a twenty minute wait between rounds sorry” We accepted that, drank, had an appetizer, and when it was time to pay the tab. Someone who payed with cash was shorted on his change, we complained she apologized and corrected it. This seems like normal behavior after reading other reviews. Second time, another birthday same situation. This time was worse. Someone ordered a beer dressed it was wrong three times by the third time it was hot. She said I don’t want it take it off the tab and ordered a shot. While we wait almost 20 minutes for our first round. The bar isn’t busy and many tables are empty. She says forget it I’m leaving. Waitress holds her hand up and says “ma’am you can’t leave my manager says I can’t take anything else off your tab you HAVE to take the shot!” During this time finally the shots come to the table. She says I’ll take it and pay for it but this is horrible. Same manager came out and offers a free appetizer, she sounds understanding and nice over the situation. Just to turn around and be salty and put a 30 minute hold on our shot orders. Because guess who’s approval the orders needed?!?!? The same freaking manager from the first time. She literally was gatekeeping both times, was shady and condescending, does not give good person she gives evil person. Her power trip is insane. Imma pray for her and keep my distance, cause I was chill these times but baby if I go back I’m vocalizing my reactions very loud and very rude not at all demure like the service they gave us. My people are regulars and those were my first and only times. The service, the attitude, the stealing, they don’t treat people right. We work hard and came to spend money drink and have a good time. She treated us like po lil tink tink can’t have a drink drink. The supervisor works on sat late nights. It really gave “you don’t belong here” Iykyk 😏 12/28 & 12/14.
And yes owner, responder, I’m...
Read moreTwin Peaks is a wonderful place to grab a bite to eat, have a drink, or watch the game. They have daily specials as well as an all day, every day happy hour that provides some cheap $3.99 shots of assorted liquors. $3, 22 oz draft Twin Peaks light is pretty tasty and is a good bang for your buck. You’ll never get a warm beer here, in fact most beers come out with ice forming on top from the freezing temperatures they’re served at. I recently went here and had the appetizer sampler with fried pickles, mozzarella bites, and lemon pepper chicken strips; it was a perfect snack to munch on while we enjoyed watching the Stars game and had a few drinks. All of the wait staff here are friendly and beautiful, and they always are apologetic if a drink takes too long or there is another error. Jewelia was busy when she was serving us and was still new to serving at Twin Peaks, yet she could make great recommendations and made sure to accommodate our picky desires for drinks. Nothing is better than a server who can have laugh with you, make recommendations, and stays on top of her service steps. I commend her serving and will definitely ask for her service next time I come in. I have been to this location before and observed a woman who looked as though she had too much to drink. I immediately notified the bartender who made sure all wait staff knew not to serve her more and keep an eye on her to make sure she was okay. This is behavior that exemplifies great management and responsible TABC protocol. I commend the management and ownership for enforcing these “cut-offs” to ensure the safety of...
