I can't say I would willingly come back. Came here for the first time for an 11PM showing; we were told they were running behind and it would be a bit of a wait for the theater to be cleaned and prepped for our movie, which was fine. So we end up sitting at around 11:15PM. We go ahead and order; not even anything hot, just popcorn, a drink, and the brownie sundae which is discounted on Sundays. Others around us are ordering around the same time as well. Time passes, the movie starts, and we're about 45 minutes in when I notice everyone else has been served except us. I call to ask about our order, and am told by the staff member (who took my card to charge me btw!) that the kitchen closed and they didn't make our order and he just forgot to come tell us. Of course, we're confused as everyone else was served (some served hot food AFTER the time the kitchen supposedly closed!), but by that point I just wanted to leave it and enjoy the rest of the film. I was told my card wasn't charged, and that the staff member would come back with vouchers of some sort for a meal or ticket for the future, and I said fine. No one ever came back. I saw the same staff member as we were leaving the theater, he never said anything and simply looked away and continued his conversation with a co-worker. Well, alright then!
I personally won't be back. On top of the bad service experience, the halls to get to the auditoriums smelled bad (like bathrooms that hadn't been cleaned in a few days), the carpets were dirty, and the bathrooms were poorly maintained as well. I guess the COVID regulations for cleanliness aren't enforced so strictly anymore. The young guy at the counter who sold us the tickets and kept us informed about the delay was really nice though! Too bad that he was the only good part (besides the movie itself, which...
Read moreHoly moly what a scam. They out to dry your wallet. They add an 18% gratuity on top of you food order and still ask for tip. They’re sneaky about it so beware. We paid almost $80 dollars for three entrees and a soda each, and apparently we had a discount for a 2 for $30 deal. 2 FOR 30!? That was the first thing that caught my attention when I looked over the menu, because in what world is that a deal?! Also the theatre layout are mind boggling, any other theatre will have the auditorium seats at an incline, that’s why there are usually hand rails and step so the higher you go you don’t have to worry about seats in front of you blocking you view or have to have your neck hurting by looking up. This place doesn’t have that, so you have to look up and tilt you head back no matter where you sit. My sister had bought our tickets and the website had said auditorium seating with aisles next to our seats but when we walked in the actual theatre we literally did a double take. The restrooms smelled like BO, and the food was repulsive. The burger we had ordered was drier than my moms elbow skin, and it almost seems like they are concerned with your health as they give you the smallest portion sizes for what you pay for. I had to ask to get my coke icee replaced as the one they gave me literally tasted like cleaning supplies, but I never received a new one. Had such high hopes, and took a straight nosedive off Mount Everest. Stay the hell as far...
Read moreThis place used to be a lovely spot to enjoy movies. The building and rooms were nicely maintained, clean, and didn’t smell like nachos and pickles.
However, the cleanliness has dropped in the past year or so. Many cup holders usually have leftover crumbs and stickiness. The floors from the entrance to the auditoriums are constantly sticky and to be blunt: auditorium 2 smells like a portable restroom. I’ve never had that issue in the other auditoriums but that room smells like urine. It’s as if people wet the seats and the smell soaked into the chairs or there was a plumbing issue. Just avoid movies screened in that room during the summer.
On Tuesdays, tickets are $6 each so that’s a plus. Please note there is an automatic gratuity of 18% on food.
Also, since this place serves food directly to seats, they will leave the entry door open for the first 45 minutes to 1 hour to make it easier for servers to bring in food trays/drinks; it means 1/5 of the screen be will faded from the light coming in from the hallway.
They need to keep up maintenance as well because some of the speakers will have audible static.
I haven’t experienced it myself (because I avoid ordering anything), but a lot of patrons in the past year or so have reported being charged twice or staff falsifying tips. (KEEP your customer copies or take photos of BOTH receipts...
