This place is wayyyyyy too new to be this horrible for absolutely no reason. Located in a new, up and coming area I "ASSumed" it would be great. If my toddler wasn't fixated on eating pizza and not leaving I would have turned around the moment I walked in. It clearly needed a good sweep (which I assumed the messy floor happened earlier, since we entered right after lunch hour and would be handled SOON.) I was wrong. The cashier was fumbling around explaining the menu to me. My 2nd chance at leaving. And then once we ordered and walked toward the tables (which at this time, all were available) I couldn't find ONE table that didn't have leftover crumbs etc. like seriously ALL OF THEM HAD NOT BEEN WIPED DOWN. So I politely asked (remember I'm with my toddler) if she could come wipe down the table. She said yes and as she walked over she said with an innocent face, "which table would you like cleaned?” In my mind I screamed "Duhhhh!!! ALL OF THEM!!!!" But I simply pointed to the one that had the least crumbs on top and on the floor. Once the pizza was ready she yelled out "Emily!" But I ignored her because she asked my name when ordering, took a pen and wrote it down. But something told me to go up and ask was it for me. Why? Because the place was empty and my name isnt Emily; it's SHEILA. Sweet mother of gawd. Grabbed the pizza, set down at the table and after one bite I realized this thing was burned. (See pic) I tried to explain this to my toddler who was eating only the top of his slices. Should've been my first clue. Needless to say I will NEVER RETURN. Even if they burn down the building (which will probably happen soon) and start from scratch. Filthy and nasty rolled into one. We left and went to Crumbl next door and it...
Read moreI’m just gonna make a list of all the problems when we went there last night for the last time, yes, we will never go back. I have worked at pizzerias in high school, college, and even when I was in the Army… So I know how our pizzeria is supposed to be run.
We came in at 6:30 on Saturday night with only three tables of people in the entire restaurant. The employees are just sitting around joking. As we were entering, someone cut us off and ran up and started talking to the customers and let the door slam in our face. I do not know if this person works there or not. But, the employees seemed more interested in talking to that person than helping us.
The restaurant was DIRTY with multiple tables that needed to be bussed and cleaned. Most of the trash cans were a full of trash and needed to be emptied.
Employees were rude and didn’t show any respect towards us as paying customers. Even getting their attention to place an order was difficult.
They couldn’t even make a round pizza. Our pizzas were shaped more like Naan bread. Quality of the food was very poor. The person making the pizza used as little time as possible to make a hideous looking pizza. I guess it was just too much for him to spend his time doing his job properly.
When this restaurant first opened, the food was actually pretty good. We used to go about twice a month on Sunday. NEVER again!
Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Mellow Mushroom makes a good pizza and so does Prima’s. Both of those places have much better customer service as well.
I truly hope that MOD Pizza goes out...
Read moreMy mother flew in from out of state and was excited to have MOD Pizza for dinner. Unfortunately, our visit was extremely disappointing and did not reflect the standards I’ve come to associate with the brand.
We waited over 30 minutes in line without being acknowledged or helped. There were clear supply issues, and the staff member assisting with orders was rude and dismissive toward my family. She even skipped over us to take the next customer, while another employee came from the back carrying a random bowl of lettuce.
Sanitation was also a major concern. There was food all over the preparation area and the floor, and cross-contamination appeared to be happening throughout. They attempted to make my mother’s gluten-free pizza on a frozen crust without offering any explanation or alternative.
Even worse, several employees went in and out of the back, touched unsanitary surfaces, and returned to handle food without washing their hands. There was a noticeable lack of hair nets, gloves, and general hygiene practices.
Not a single employee greeted us or showed basic courtesy. They seemed more focused on online orders than the customers standing in front of them. When I asked for the owner’s name, I was told to “look it up online.”
As a business professional familiar with MOD Pizza’s mission to serve with purpose and kindness, I was very disappointed. This experience fell far short of what the company claims...
