Cat Country — Attraction in Fountain Valley

This place is huge with more of everything than any other store I have seen; being a cat lover this place is that much better to me. That does not mean they only carry cat products, great big selection of dog items, along with many other animal needs. So far every staff member I have talked with or received assistance from has been both knowledgeable and very friendly, usually every store has one employee that is grumpy or something, so far not the case here. In fact, several employees have taken the time to talk with me about my cancer and actually seemed to care, in which helped me feel a little better. The only two negative things I can think of are; one I could not get to their website, this could be my fault. The only other thing is some of their cat toys seem to be a little expensive, (more than discount stores), however the prices are probably in line with pet stores, but I am cheap and try to buy things on clearance. With that being said, I would and do recommend Cat Country to everyone as they are honestly the best pet store I have ever been to. In addition, they have an experienced local vet that is there on Wed. & Thur. for several hours that you can bring your pet to see for check ups or problems. He has seen my cat several times and has been caring, very knowledgeable, helped my cat and is very reasonably priced. Great store for any pets the cat part is huge with just About anything and everything you could look for. Including a walk in clinic with Vets for i assume all pets I took 3 cats after learning about it. Right now it is every Wed&Thurs from sometime in am until 2:30pm call to verify. When I just went exam free was $25 per pet and I can't say this is std o Practice one cat i have goes nuts around other people if I'm not there(pandemic cat not used to other people born day after StPatricks day so one day before COVID shut down CA the first time) anyway I was able to be with him And assist to keep him calm. That alone is priceless to me... won't find that at the poorly ran vets around here that blame everything on the pandemic... it's...

If you are not a HB local and are wondering if Cat Country is worth the drive... I fear the answer is yes. They have EVERYTHING you could ever want toys, meowijawana, food, beds, trees, treats etc. Speaking of food, I've been wanting to try the feline naturals brand for a while but literally no other store carries it in stock and Amazon only has it in bulk! It's an expensive food so I appreciate being able to buy one can as a test to see if my picky boy likes it or not.
