Most of the staff here was rude and very agitated when you talk to them. They seem as if they consider the RV's parking there a bother. They don't seem to understand anything about the rigs at times either. Their dry camping area is just a small gravel lot that is anything but level, and we were discouraged against putting any leveling jacks down if we had any. We stayed here only due to lack of any other spots available as we had to pass through this area on short notice. Since the Wal-Marts in the area can not allow over night parking, it's acceptable... but they make you feel like you are in the way and a burden. When we did move to a hookup spot, we found that the RV next to us had hooked up wrong and used our outlets - staff told us just to use the ones on the other side from another site. This is not how things should be managed.
Dry camping was only $5 difference all said and done from the water/electric hook up spots. Dump station is at the back and for long rigs can be tricky to line up for.
It beats having to leave a parking lot at 2am, but not by any...
Read moreIf you have a child in diapers this isn't the place for you sadly enough . not a single place to change your baby, no diaper stations no countertops and you will also be threatened with the cops for so-called "indecent exposure" when you attempt to hide in a hallway that is empty of people to change your baby on a mat instead of changing her baby on a concrete floor in the bathroom while people are walking back and forth by their head :-( I was extremely disappointed with the way I was treated I was embarrassed by this woman for just simply trying to take care of my child when going to a Fairground you would expect there to be facilities for mothers and fathers and families with children that are still in diapers I'm appalled at how I was treated and it was so unfair unkind and un human. I will not be going back and we'll be calling to make an official Complaint through the...
Read moreWe were at the far South side of the FG's Westernaires Arenas for our Grandaugter's T5 Riding Drills. Bare Back Riding practice was in another, the 3rd was practicing Advanced Tricks, standing & all kinds of hangoffs, that the Wife clearly said her GD would never attemp in her riding future. Lots of Adult & Youth Leaders attending to each arena's work. While the riding arenas seem good, the viewing & access to areas needs improvements. Westernaires seems to be an excellent program for Horsemanship & Riding Skills. Each Youth supports their participation through sales of tickets to their Shows. We over heard cost was $10 per, I'd say find a Member! Watching this many young Riders is well...
